At the end of the day the board will decide if WGS goes or stays,but if he does they will get in a manager who will work with a very tight budget as Mr Lawell only seems to be interested in climbing the richest clubs in the world list!!

If Strachan had a Larsson?

Just a question guys, Do you think if Strachan had a striker in the class of Larsson it would be diffrent this season.

I think so in a way, cause we are creating chances just cant seen to take them. If we where not creating chances that would be a bigger worry.

Look at Celtic under Barnes we where doing ok till he broke his leg over in Lyon, then it all went wrong.

Think if Larsson was up front in this team we would not have dropped so many points this season.

Martin O'neil had a true world class striker, somthing strachan or any other manager will have in a long time.

 

Larsson would have left.

 

he'd have found some way to minimise his ability.
Larsson stick rigidly to the left wing or centre midfeild.

 

course it would be different... atleast 10goals more than mcdonald has this season anyway.... infact look at what larsson done with agathe/thompson crosses..... could u imagine him with naka/mcgeady..

 

Well the point am making is, dont think there would be so many people calling for this head if we had a world class striker, in a Larsson who could put the ball in the net, cause we are creating chances.

 

end of the day... all ifs/buts... strachan has had his chance... 90% of supporters want him out....only a miracle would save him from axe..

 

O'neil was lucky if he hadn't have inherited Henrik Larsson he would have been just another disaster. * Bless You Henke.

 

I dont think O'neil would have done as good as he did without him for sure.

that was a good team though... we might have struggled.. but we would still have won alot of what we did win..
sutton was a success whereever he was played
petta had a good season, agathe was good.
petrov was good, lennon was good, mcnamara was good
mjallby was good, valageren played well
douglas was * *,

most of oneils players made a name for themselfs at park head.

im still gutted to this day about how strachan let mcnamara leave...

 

Larsson was great for MON, and MON was great for Henrik Larsson.

It took a manager of o'neill's calabre to get the best out of the great man.

Thats bullshit MON came and every player at the club improved including Larsson, under MON he became world class, he was good before but under MON he became great.
