for the whole story you have to look at every teams stats, if you look at 1 teams without comparison then stats can tell you a lot of pish.

 

would need 9 in arow , 2 cl final appearances and 1 cl winners medal to beas good as jock. saying he is as good as the legendary jock stein is the biggest lot of * i have heard in my life

 

so its a load of pish we have won 3 IAR well on the way to 4 :bbpd:

obvously it aint a lot of pish, we got 3 and we are goin to get 4, my point is stats do lie, when lookin at our record you have to look at the state of the scum. they have the worst team they have evr had, so that has to have an impact in how we rate the hoops. i wish that we were beating a really good hun team, as that would mean that we would be right good team ( as happened in the days of Jock ), but that isnt the case now and their is no denying that fact

 

you must correct me where ive went wrong

 

they dont come with stats (how well the opposition are) stats tell me what have been achieved thats all ..your theory has been found out ...trophies are all that counts .You cant take that away because the opposition is * !!

my point was that to be as good as jock he needs another 6 as well as 2 cl final appearances and a cl winners medal. fair play that hes got a good record but he he needs a * of a lot more if hes to be considered equal to the great one. it also needs to be remembered that BJS was hammering a good hun team not a * 1

 

get what i mean with ppl that dont like strachan bemuses me and they dont have anything to say to back it up the opposition is * u know how many ppl would laugh at that in world

 

were not compareing him to big jock where saying hes been a good manager * and ppl should get off his back

 

fair point but would you be worried if wgs won 9 iar against a good huns team or not ..if you read up i have said he is 50% there thats all

 

read the thread mate, people are sayin he is as * as BJS, all im sayin is that he obviously isnt. ive also got lots of valid reasons why i dont like GS, as ive posted before on other threads i was originally a GS fan and i cant be arsed repeating why i changed my opinion

daft question. its impossible to answer. no one knows how any given person will do until they are the job.

 

hes done everything he has been told to do no one else can take club forward than what strachan as

 

no one knows if thats true, im happy to admit that we have had success while the budget for the playin staff has been cut, but you cant seriously mean no one could have done at least as good a job. the names ferguson,mourinho, scholari , van gaal , wegner, moyes spring to mind. got to remeber these guys may have big budgets with the clubs they are with now, but they had great sucess with clubs who had much less to spend than we have now to get to the position they are in now

 

Legend or no legend, its a * shame & a disgrace we can't manage to sing the mans name at our own ground!
