It's the Jungle Bhoys logo. (The better fans group imo :86:) I don't pretend i'm Irish unlike some plus Let the people sing is a song about fighting against oppression , something which i'm against. Not just the Irish oppression. Maybe I was a bit harsh but I still think the GB is full of morons who want to bring the club down.

why was it that celtic players were forced into wearing a poppy but not all players elsewhere were wearing them?could it be that dr.death wants to spread his disease

Before anyone posts anything else could you please answer these questions. I've asked them time and again and received no answer. MAYBE BECAUSE A LOT OF YOU ARE AVOIDING THE ISSUE HERE.

No one is disputing your right to wear the poppy if you want to, so. Do you think that those who don't want to wear the poppy have no right to voice their concerns that the players were forced to wear the poppy?
Do you think that it is wrong to voice concern about the hypocricy that is Celtic's hierarchy. The people who tell us politics has no place in football and yet bring politics right into the stadium and embrace it?
Do you believe that in a democracy people do not have the right to protest against something that goes against their beliefs and traditions?

How can remembering war heroes who fought and died for us, be against anyone's beliefs and traditions mate ?

Who knows, if it wasn't for them, there might not even be a Celtic these days.

Those who didn't want to wear the poppy should've been excused ,they shouldn't have been made too.
The fans have every right to protest against the hypocrisy of the board alhough I don't think during the match was the right time to do it.
I can see why the Irish protested but why non-Irish people protested - I have no idea :50: This isn't the issue for me - the issue for me is that the GB seem to really want to drag our great club down and embarass it.

Do you know anything about history? Do you know where the Black & Tans came from?

Even if you don't care about those murdering *, there's the current occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan that gets funded by the proceeds of poppy sales.

I quite clearly meant the Jungle Bhoys

How can you call them morons? Because they exercised a right to protest. Would you rather live in a world that denied you that right?
Calling someone a moron because you disagree with them is totally uncalled for. They do a lot of work to promote all that is good about Celtic and try to keep the traditions of the club alive. What do you do? Just turn up for the games?

I believe they did this protest to embarass John Reid and Celtic P.L.C. thus embarassing the club. I have no problems with them protesting - they have every right - but they should've done it at another time. They also sing the rebel songs at games. Now i'd love for it to be able to sing the rebel songs at games without repurcussions. Rightly or wrongly (wrongly imo) the songs have been "outlawed" and we aren't supposed to sing them. Yet they still do , thus giving the club a bad name. They also have a political agenda which they should leave outside parkhead but they don't. (I know the board brought a political agenda to the club yesterday but two wrongs don't make a right). And to answer your last question - I turn up at games and try to generate an atmosphere but nobody seem interested in my area.

The Green Brigade didn't 'bring' anything to the club other than a pro-activity in working to keep the true spirit of the club alive. Personally i'll take that over what ignorant PC thugs like you have brought us in the last 10 years or so. Your uncomfortable with 'plastic paddyness' (Who are you Bill * Leckie?), with Celtic being a focal point for the expression of Irish identity in Scotland and all the politics that orbits that? * off and support Partick Thistle. Your taking everything that made Celtic unique and special and so meaningful to people & squeezing it out.

That * Reid is embarrassing the club, and the fans.

When? In their living rooms on a Monday afternoon? Down their local boozer? Do you have any idea how a protest works? I doubt it, as you come across as a spineless sissy. It's no wonder you like the Jungle Bhoys.

I Think this passage sums up the whole ethos of what Remembrance day is about and what the symbolism of the poppy represents;

Shame on anyone who besmirches the legacy of what those young men died for by trying to politicise it into something that it so patently is not!
