Fantastic documentary series from Arte in German/French Les Alpes vues du Ciel. One of the best docs I've seen on the Alps, not just for the scenery but also a good deal about the regions within the mountains and the people who carry on artisanal traditions

Quite like the Ross Kemp 'Extreme World' series. Have seen a couple of episodes, one on the Ukranian nationalists fighting against the Russian separatists in the civil war, and one on the widespread rape problem in South Africa.

South African one was particularly dark.

Might already been posted, but "Jonestown: The life and death of peoples temple" is quite shocking.
Already seen it before, but came across it again. The sound of dying children/people, with the cult leader Jim Jones telling them to drink cyanide on the background at the end is * haunting. Wish I didn't watch it again now.

    Here it is in full.

It´s a documentary, not a blockbuster movie with some genius plot. The documentary even starts with telling what happens in the end. :giggle1:

Yeah watched it a wee while back, hard to believe it could actually happen, but it did, amazing how that amount of people can be brainwashed.

This looks alright about the US Mexican border pretty much about excessive force against the Mexicans off the border patrol .
