I just mean that, if you had a planned a trip to Austin this weekend - not knowing that the ROTrally was going on, you would be in for a bit of a shock to your senses. Sight, sound, smell you name it!

(For those who don't know what we're talking about, the ROTrally, "Republic Of Texas motorcycle rally) is a HUGE annual event in Austin where thousands and thousands of motorcycle aficionados (aka "bikers") come to town to party for the weekend. I'm no expert on this sort of thing, so I don't know how this compares to Sturgis or some of the other big biker rallies, but even 30 miles away in Georgetown, we KNOW when the ROTrally is in town.

That Osman Chavez guy we were linked with a while back has played well so far. I kind of like the look of him, not a bad player.

So today's games should make for an interesting finish to the group stage. Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Honduras, Guatemala, and Granada have all gotten out of the group stage so far. The Last 2 spots are up for grabs between the U.S., Canada, and El Salvador. El Salvador is finished playing however and will be sweating this one out.

It seems it will be a Costa Rica - Honduras clash in the next round... it must be a good match.

If Mexico could keep their players out of trouble they'd be a shoe-in this year. The US lacks finishing in the final third, and Mexico has more talent than ever. Unfortunately, Mexico can't their nose clean. Go USA! Don't Tread on Me!

The games at Cowboys Stadium usually always have tickets available at walk up.

what u guys think of Wondo. I really wanted him to do well for USA. He's actually a * of an all around athlete, when he was in highschool he ran 4:14 for the mile.

He kind of came out of nowhere last season...Good MLS player. However, at 29 he'll never have the skills/opportunity to do anything beyond that level.

Here's to hoping he can help us out in the next few games though

    29?

I thought he was 27... *. I knew he had some years injure but he truly came onto to it late in the game didn't he. Like an American striker Barry Robson.

    Sorry... He is actually 28.

He did come on very late and has really found his rhythm in MLS. I can see him filling the Brian Ching - Conor Casey veteran striker role for the next few years with the USMNT. With young guys like Jozy, Agudelo and even Teal Bunbury ahead of him...........

Anyone have a take on Dempsey's missed scoring opportunity? It sure looked to me that he was taking it easy and gave the defender a chance that he didn't deserve.

Other than that, I thought Dempsey had a whale of game. Sometimes the ball just doesn't go in, but Clint seemed to be creating a lot of shot opportunities.
