If we bring in another striker, be it Ambrosino or Yamada, it's clear we are moving Maeda back to Left Wing and I think that's a mistake.

There is also Celtic on Giuseppe Ambrosino of Napoli: first contacts between the parties for a loan with redemption right

Returning to the base after the loan to Frosinone, Giuseppe Ambrosino could leave Napoli again this summer.

In fact, the interest of Cagliari and Cremonese is to be reported on the blue striker, but in the last few hours also Celtic has moved for him.

As reported by Sky Sports UK, there were first contacts between the Scots and Napoli for a loan with redemption rights, and in the meantime the footballer has opened the destination.

Evolving situation, but Ambrosino could leave Napoli and Serie A after the positive season with Frosinone.

Idah definitely getting a shot at outright no1, if this is true.

Osmand and this guy as back up hm. We must really rate Osmand.

Yep, thought we would go all out to replace Kyogo thisn summer, but I get the feeling that's not going to happen and Idah will number 1 striker. A mistake if true.

I think this guy and Osmand both look promising. It’s a huge gamble but it could pay off massively.

Maeda, Idah, Osmand, Ambrosino are four good options.. with Maeda being flexible in where he can play

I think we’ll see a lot more tactical/shape flexibility this season too, might be games we play 2 strikers

We either view Osmund as more developmental and he's going out on loan or we view him as backup to Idah.

I think I'd be a mistake to shift Maeda back out to the left tbh.

He looks like a false 9/Firmino type.

Good at linking play and seems to drift wide. I think it's evident we are looking for versatility across our front 3

I dont always judge young strikers by this metric, but his scoring record is unimpressive. Also, Italian players’ track record abroad is very sketchy.

If this is on, means a forward line of either Osmand, Idah, this guy and Kenny for the season. Thats worrying for CL.

Absolutely need experience and Quality on the spine. So means paying for a proven CM and DMF now.

Unless Osmand is going out on loan don’t really see the point in this one, not much experience above Serie B and nearly 22.

Hmm, second video actually looked a lot better. Seems to be able to play in a variety of different roles. Comes off the left a lot, seems to be slightly deeper centrally, as an attacking midfielder or false 9. Also looks like he can play off the right.

Again, if he's brought in as an understudy to Nygren as an attacking midfielder, it may work. Looks like he has a bit about him and seems decent on the ball but it looks like such a scattergun approach at the minute. Throwing some * at the wall and hoping something sticks.

Are we actually going to buy any outright first team players or is it just more projects?

On the contrary. I think this proves we’re keeping maeda central as he wants. We’re not signing a proven out and out striker.

a loan for this guy (not a guaranteed starter, just an option to have with no risk), then yamada who is obviously a project. And osmond too who’s young but I doubt we’ll see too much of

Yeah that's what I think. Even if we wanted to give Idah a go as number 1 I think we'd be bringing in someone a bit more proven in the middle to act as back up.

If you think we would keep Maeda as a striker, then bring in both Ambrosino and Yamada, that would mean 5 strikers for one position. We aren't going to do that.

We aren’t bringing Yamada in too. No chance.

I don't understand why we are bringing in any of them, to be honest.

I think our strike force is fine. Maeda, Idah and Osmand should be the front 3 going forward. I can understand why we may bring in Ambrosino who can play anywhere across the front 4 positions(if we go back to an attacking midfielder) and he looks like he would be a decent rotation option to have with Nygren in behind a striker.

We should be targeting wingers from now on. A LW option and a couple of RW options are needed, especially if we let Yang go as well.

Another striker that isn't remotely prolific. Pass.
