I'm not convinced but he deserves his chance in games like this. For a player that offers comparatively little elsewhere, you'd hope to see a bit more clinical finishing mind. Not sure what Ange has seen in him. He was signed on the last day of the window iirc, so maybe that answers that question.

His finish was good but he should have had a couple more. I don’t think he’s up to speed yet and it’s important to remember he’s just back from surgery and a long layoff.

Turning into a bit of a whipping boy in the same way Abada was in the autumn.

Should have had 3 or 4. Still getting back into it, looks like he has a few games now to prove himself. Next few games is massive for him.

Ajeti is more clinical. He'd have buried 5 of them tonight. Big jackie is miles aff it. No better than Bayo or Klimala

You may say it's too early but the odds of this guy being added to the inglorious list of Cifti, Miku, Ajeti, Balde etc. are getting higher every passing week.

Big man gets some leeway if he puts the ball in the pokey, he's just not ideal for the way we play. Looks like the type that would do well with a strike partner but that ain't goanny happen.

If he doesn't score in any given game he'll be absolutely hounded because he doesn't offer much else.

    Thought he was awful.

Any confidence he might’ve got from that goal was wiped out a minute later when he missed that one on one.

No chance I’d start him on Wednesday.

I don't think he's as bad as any of them.

Just don't see him being a 1st or even 2nd choice for us.

Not only that, it was important that he got another full game into his legs and got on the scoresheet this evening, because we will be looking to him for more goals shortly, when there will be 2-3 games where a clutch of our players are going to be away on international duty. Clearly at this stage he isn't first choice when everyone is fit and firing, but that is the challenge that he has now - to prove that he can be.

Besides, a goal is always good for a striker's confidence.

We need to give him proper service too, the ball for his goal was great and the one that found him at the back post decent but then other than the chance he made for himself just after scoring which he should have squared the service to him was terrible.

So many balls hitting the first man, so many times he made a good run for the pass to him to be crap and cut out. He’s not great don’t get me wrong but there was far worse out there tonight than him.
