As soon as I saw Juranovic wasn't taking the pen I got a shudder. Sometimes you can just sense disaster is coming. Why any team would remove a proven, regular penalty scorer when there was so much at stake is beyond me. And from what I've seen of him so far GG looks about as much use as Ajeti.

He has looked decent in some of his cameos but he was utter * today. Just offered nothing and never looked close to getting onto any of the crosses we put in, which I thought was his strength.

What the * kind of penalty was that from Giakoumakis? If you're going to take the penalty kick away from Juranovic (who is proven scorer of penalties) then you'd better be * sure you're going to score. A couple of minutes left in the game, you * nail that penalty with power, that was a half arsed * lame effort. A minute later he makes a * of another chance. Sorry but thats * inexcusable from the dozy *, is he thick in the head or something? * raging with that.

He's gonna need to get his finger out of his * * for the rest of the season if he's going to make amends for that *.

 

Why did he take the penalty over Juranovic? He was pish all game and Juranovic has a 100% record. You could tell the second he stepped up to take it he was missing.

I think he can be very handy bringing on as a sub, but that's twice he's started and we've really struggled up front.

 

We all had the same feeling when he went forward to take it, I get reasoning behind it to let him build his confidence and get a goal but theres a time and place and today under those circumstances wasnt it.

 

I watched videos of his goals and his stupid 1 step hit never filled me with confidence he was a good penalty taker. Juranovic as we've seen strikes the really well from the spot, Bizarre decision.
