If you read my posts in this thread you’ll see I’m one of the few not cheering on the sale of Giakoumakis.

However, it now seems inevitable so I’m looking at the few positives.

Tbf he's not average. He's a good player imo and one I thought we should be keeping until the Summer.

But some folk on here go well overboard about him and make random * up like opposing managers are in fear of him as if he's Henrik Larsson.

Rubbing your hands because you want to be proved right. Even if it’s detrimental to our success. Go you! :57:

We have an emotional bond with GG unlike anything since Larsson's time? Jesus * wept man, if that's not trolling you need help. He's a solid player for us, but far from irreplaceable.

No, rubbing my hands because whoever replaces him will not be subjected to the same abuse he has.

Who has said that, other than a user claiming that’s how others think?

There’s a lot of angry individuals on here, and more often than not the anger comes from them imagining what others are thinking.

There is obviously a wage tiering system at Celtic and this player is asking to be paid more than the NO. 1 striking option and he is currently used in a squad rotation and back up capacity. Thats the crux of the problem.

So just to clarify, you’re looking forward to seeing Kyogo perform poorly and the team suffer as a result, so that you can have a sense of superiority over anonymous people on a football forum?

Like I said before in another post if it wasn’t for him and his contribution last season we wouldn’t have won the league.

We won it without Mooy last season, again he is worth the wages he is on.

What’s EPL experience got to do with this? You go off in some mad tangents all the * time.

Mooy is a good squad player who has done well since he has come in but we will be lucky to get another 2 seasons out of him.

Trying to compare a centre mid with a forward is * pointless, I could say well big Jackie is better in the air, better finisher and is fantastic at leading the line. Absolutely mental trying to justify what you are writing.

So when Kyogo goes missing in games and he only gets 10 minutes here and there what do you expect, honestly, you talk some *.

his goals to minutes ratio is unreal, again someone else posted this on this thread and it’s better than some of the quality forwards we have had in the last 5/10 years.

The last part makes me * laugh, again comparing him with 3 midfielders……

No even gonna try and have a discussion with you cause you just talk utter *.

I’m anticipating Kyogo continuing to perform erratically, Celtic continuing to win, and people realising that whoever replaces Giakoumakis should be appreciated.

Three times I’ve now clarified this. Let’s not ruin another thread :50:

I think he's going to be harder to replace than people realise.

His record, despite his lack of starts, is phenomenal. He was top scorer in the league last season despite starting like 11 games.

Also thought he was excellent against Real at home, don't think Kyogo would have had a similar impact.

Hopefully can get someone with similar attributes as he gives us a completely different dimension when he's on it.

If Giakoumakis started, it would be the most serious sign he's staying.
