I highly, highly doubt that he will go to Japan no matter who reports on it. No chance

 

If we move him on for a profit and have a replacement in this window that is ready to go now sounds like this is best for everyone.

I'd have preferred he stayed to the end of the season as he did make a difference last year but rather not have someone in a huff in the squad.

Do think he might get a better move in the summer if he can get his head straight and come to an agreement with the club. Not sounding that likely though.

 

Same as JJ unless some clause activated then given time left on contract and variety he brings to us up front it’s not a sale I’d be advocating for the suggested low amount

Big, physical strikers seem to do well there.

100% agreed with this. Whilst I got a whole lot of love for Kyogo you cannot help but feel perhaps we have never seen the best of GG. When he had that run last season he seemed to be getting better and better.

 

Wants regular game time and probably his last big move and pay day.. can't blame him..

 

We all saw the different type of threat the big man has when he came on as a sub on Saturday. We will always need that type of physical presence up front and I would prefer it if we routinely started some of our games with GG up front and bring on Kyogo when teams are beginning to tire.

 

Pretty sure if he was getting the 24k week he's supposedly asking for he wouldn't mind so much

 

I don't think this is as cut and dry as some people are trying to make out.
I wouldn't be surprised if he stays unti the summer at least.

Letting go of a top striker the middle of a very importantt season, with rumours of bringing in another untested striker who might take weeks to get up to speed, even as a sub, seems very risky to me.

 

Hopefully get closer to £6m for him. We'll see.

Another who I'm just keen to see out the door now, though I appreciate everything he gave us last year. Get players in who want to be here.

Giakoumakis is a different story, if there is any way to keep this guy (within reason) we should be doing it.
