Scepovic, Ajeti, Bangura, Balde, Miku, Pukki, Klimala.

Giakoumakis has been outstanding when you consider the sort of * we've brought in before him - which just goes to show how difficult it is to find strikers who are effective for us. That must be 8m between Klimala and Ajeti we've pished away.

With the league not yet won and two cups to play for this looks like awful business the more you think about it.

I'll be pleased if we sign Cho (but will wait until it's official, if it ever is) but he's not got the physicality that Giakoumakis has. Whether some like it or not, we'll miss that against the Huns who've had Kyogo marked out of every game he's played against them.

I agree mate, i feel our team functions better with a physical and imposing number 9. I’m not saying thats so we can just punt it long SPFL style as some seem to think that suggests but you only have to look at every top team right now and they have someone up top that can handle themselves.

It’s more the fact it’s us doing the selling I suppose. Have we ever sold to somewhere like that before?

GG was absolutely pivotal in the games against the Huns last year, no doubt. However, he’s * woeful technically. His passing and ability with the ball is * *. Cho seems to be less psychical but miles better with the ball at his feet.

There's nothing wrong with hitting a long ball as an option.

Even Rodgers - who encouraged intricate passing football - made sure we occasionally used to hit it up to Dembele. Think of his equaliser in the 3-2 Hun game or the set up for McGregor in the Scottish Cup semi v Huns.

Definitely gives us the option, Liverpool seem to play that way more often than not

Not that I can recall, that said it makes sense given that we've been doing a lot of business there

Incredible how we’ve so successfully opened to that market.

    Repeating myself here…

I like him, but I’m not too gutted to see him go if we bring in Cho. He’s scored some big goals for us and he’s a handful for defenders. But I think he’s poor technically and could be improved on.

Did a good job for us, though, so wish him well.

This is how I see it. I like him as a player but it feels like (obviously no guarantees) Cho would be an upgrade so if that materialises, got to be happy overall.

If yesterday was his last game for us, it's a crying shame that he didn't get to sign off with a goal. He was so unlucky not to get one, and he deserved it for everything he's contributed over the past year and a half.

I’m just wondering if he knew that was his last game as he’s not been interested in last few games and then his performance suddenly picked up yesterday

Respecting clubs decision probably said he’s not signing new contract so clubs accepting whoever has the bigger offer for him

I think on the face of it he has had a good 1.5 years out of his entire career and is nearly 29. Bit of a late bloomer. So perhaps this type of move isn't all that surprising.

He probably wouldn't be that attractive a signing to an EPL side, not in the modern era.

Cho looks like he can be pretty physical too, in what I have seen of him so far.
I'm not tooo worried on that score.
Maybe we will all get a pleasant surprise in what he brings to the team, if he signs.
