I can understand why they gave big wages to Morelos but why the * would you pay £28k a week to someone who couldn’t get a game for a second division German side

Still 23k for a guy who isn’t a starter is still a fair wack.

He was on big money and Shalke so had to offer it. They must have thought Shalke were selling cheap because they are financially *, truth is Shalke overpaid (€9m) but the fact nobody in Belgium bought him should have given a clue.

Still think GG is a cracking player. If we think we’ve got something better lined up then fair play get the business done, but this type of action is a fairly new direction for Celtic IMO.

I've loved what he brings to us. Big brute who can finish..

Looks clear that he wants away and that we likely want to cash in now ourselves..

Can we get someone as clinical? I hope so. No guarantees. Probably won't get as good a first time finisher though..

One thing he's lacked loads though is his ability to link the play. It's really been terrible. Alway * the pass when we're in the final third or doesn't even see it. That and his first touch is the two things that have probably held him back from playing in one of the top 5 leagues..

Been a great signing overall but overall I think we can improve on him for our style..

    £1.2m a year.

Project players cost more before wages.

If a player wants away from Celtic then as far as im concerned they can * off but I have to say im disappointed Giamakous appears to be on his way out. There are many big physical strikers around but most of them have a poor scoring record whereas Giamakous is a powerful striker AND a goal machine. Ange loves wee Kyogo but there are definitely certain games where Giamakous is the better option; but if he wants to leave then * him, shame though.

£6m is about what I'd expect, though if an EPL club came in we could probably reach closer to £10m.

£6m will cover the transfer fee we paid, plus the money for Cho and a good chunk of, if not all the wages we paid him while he was here. Good business.

There’s been a few random teams linked with GG so far see Urawa in Japan were also as they have put Junker out on loan to another J league club.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a cash rich team in Dubai or Saudi were up for offering him a big salary and paying a decent fee for him. It was rumoured when he first wanted a move that Saudi teams were interested.

From a Celtic perspective they would likely pay the transfer fee no problem, did one of the lesser ones not spend about £3m on Boyle from Hibs and gave him over £20k a week!

Being honest it sounds like he’s going so I just hope someone pays what we are looking for quickly and we get his replacement in before he goes.

Juranovic is the same for me now, get good money for them and on to the next ones.

Bernabei on more than Jura is the biggest surprise to be honest and GT only on £8K.

Maybe he is just looking for game time rather than money then, must know we are looking at improving strike forces and he’s welcome to leave.

Get Cho in first then let him go wherever he wants, take £5M and we’ve doubled our money. That pays for Cho straight away.

I doubt he wants the move there.

I'll be gutted to lose him tbh. I know he has his limitations but his record when starting is sensational and i love his style. Strong and uncomprising but also works hard and presses really well.

For many games I feel he is suited to us still. But he's not getting the gametime at the moment so I can't blame him if he wants to go on.

Just a bit of a shame.
