Normal circumstances you'd say he's just low on confidence and just keep working away, but everything surrounding the situation means it's vital to get him out ASAP and bring in a replacement.

Gutted as I think he could have been huge for us for years, but if there are off field issues then it's the only way.

The Greek attacker was offered new terms on his contract but is understood to be unhappy with the number on the table at this moment in time.

Hopefully get near the £20m mark for both GG and JJ. With Kobayashi coming in for free and Johnstone coming in for £3m, hopefully see a few million invested in our strikeforce. Cho and Tengstedt for £6m combined would be unreal business.

Abildgaard and Ideguchi out this window too hopefully.

 

Looks fed up in my opinion. Pity as he is a very useful player. It’s hard with him and Kyogo as both would expect to play, and at times I think Giakoumakis should have been in ahead of Kyogo, but then you run the risk of having two players out of form due to rotating too much.

 

I 100% believe GG should have been starting some games. Kyogo been off form so far this season as a whole. However, look at the form of Kyogo since we came back from the world cup. Been immense.

 

It was always going to be difficult to keep both happy. Having said that, Giakoumakis seemed fine before the contract talks seem to have stalled. It would be interesting to know what he is on and how much he is after, because I think he has earned a wage increase, but of course it depends on how much he is looking for.

 

I'd be hoping for closer to 30. 25 maybe being more realistic..

6 mill for Cho and Tengstedt or if those two are fanciful together....then maybe Mmaee with one of them..

3 to 4 on Laidouni and the young Korean and we're good to go..

Around 25 brought in for two players. Roughly 10 spent on four replacements (although we already spent 3 on Johnston beforehand....but you get the gist)..

 

He definitely doesn't look happy. Looks in a huff and was saying something after the game to a couple of players pointing to area's of the park. The last thing we need is a big huffy * disrupting the dressing room. I don't think Ange would take his pish if he is acting up. Good goalscorer but has his flaws and I'd be confident of finding a decent replacement.

 

Laidouni would be unreal but I sense we have moved on from him now.

Not sure we had any original interest in Belmonte. Didn't that come from Pendy, who was right about the club but was wrong about the player/position we were scouting?

Would definitely like him though if there was genuine interest.
