Enjoy the gig mate. Have a few of their albums and really like them.

The Midnight Organ Fight is a superb album, I was at the Captains Rest when they recorded the live version of the album. Was superb.

Suede, last night, were a bit of a disappointment. Musically they were fine but the set list was poor. They played hardly anything from their 1st 2 albums.

I had checked setlist beforehand and some nights they play all their old stuff and some nights they don't. They change their set drastically from night to night.

For anyone going, the Arctic Monkeys gig tomorrow night has been postponed 'til the 21st November. Alex Turner has some illness.

Apparently they cancelled their gig tonight an hour before the doors were to open, quite * from them.

They're out on the lash the night before every gig, still managed to make it ten years touring without ever cancelling till now.

They are doing very well in the states. Constant touring is paying off.

They're getting here slowly but surely. Scott Hutchison's lyrics are * tremendous.

Poke is up there with the best lyrics I've ever heard.

Is anyone going to the Download Festival next year?

Went this year and going again next year. Two headliners have been announced so far - Avenged Sevenfold and Linkin Park. * delighted, favourite band and always been a big fan of LP. Rob Zombie and Fall Out Boy have also been confirmed as playing.

Was at Stereophonics at The Hydro last night. Pretty impressive venue!

The band were on song as always, but man that is the most *-poor crowd I have ever seen. The slightest bit of jostling and people were moaning, plus why people go to a gig just to stand and record the whole thing on their phone is beyond me.

I've been gigging for 16 years but I just think the whole thing has gone a bit flat, not as much fun as it used to be. Only real buzz I get now is at the smaller venues like King Tuts or The Barrowlands.

It really doesn't matter who plays there, the place just has a buzz that you can't explain.

I've seen Primal Scream at The Barrowlands before, they put on a good show.

I've got a gig at King Tuts on 21st December, my mate is a drummer in a band that plays there regularly, great wee venue!

Went out to see Turin Brakes last night and they were pretty good.

Would have liked to hear more of their early stuff.

Sad to see such a poor turn out. The Lemon Tree only holds about 350-400 and was barely half full. Typical Aberdeen.

Editors are up here in a couple of weeks.

Then I've got Simple Minds at Hogmanay.

I loved 'Pain Killer', one of my favourite songs of all time, must be at least 10 years old now right enough.

Haven't heard much of their newer stuff, will need to get a look on youtube.
