Went along to Maximo Park in Aberdeen tonight. I was surprised with the setlist as they missed out a lot of big songs. Most of the new stuff struggled.

If you are going along in Glasgow tomorrow night don't waste your time with the support. They were *.

Went to see Luke Sital Singh tonight in Aberdeen.

He was very good. I did expect a longer set though. Missed out tracks I wanted to hear.

Came across as a decent guy during the show and was nice to meet afterwards too.

He's in Glasgow in a couple of nights from now. Go along if you like acoustic music.

Went to see The Afghan Whigs the other week. It's not a band I was even familiar with. I got a couple of albums to listen to, bit wasn't impressed.

Live I was surprised how good they were. I really enjoyed the gig.

I also went (with her) to see Robbie Williams of Friday night. It did remind me why I hate stadiums for gigs.

He was alright actually. I was surprised after all these years he still had to do so many covers and stretch out a lot of the show.

    £72 a ticket is taking the *.

    Robbie Williams is done.

The showman that had Knebworth in the palm of his hand has been reduced to a screechy hasbeen touring to inflate his bank balance.

He still had the crowd in the palm of his hand for most of the night.

It built up well, then fell flat, then improved later.

When all the women joined in it was a good atmosphere. They really make some noise.

His new stuff must be weak. He didn't do many new songs. The song for his daughter got people going, but the one for his son died a death.

He can't be doing too badly when 60,000 people are still willing to buy stupidly expensive tickets.

60000+ buy * like One Direction tickets!

I wasn't there just basing it on last few times I've seen him and my brothers missus who said he did a lot of Scottish songs and stuff trying to get the crowd going.

Live at Knebworth was absolutely incredible, he's a shadow of that guy now.

I haven't seen him live before other than on tv. I can't gauge how good or bad it was in comparison.

It seemed people had a great night. It was genuinely loud with vast participation. The crowd was as loud as any gig I've been and they all stayed behind to party as well.

The only Scottish song he did was 500 Miles during the encoure.

Rolling his dad out did seem lame, a few songs were poor and stealing the face mask talking didn't work.

One Direction didn't last that long and their farewell tour was the Hydro and not a stadium tour.

Went to see ELO at the Hydro the other night. Were fantastic again. Generally I prefer heavier stuff like AC/DC, Metallica, Maiden etc but they really were outstanding. 1hr 45mins of hit after hit after hit, atmosphere both in and outside the venue was fantastic.

Support act was Tom Chaplain (ex-Keane frontman). He did around 30mins, some of his songs were a bit "samey" but you cant deny the lad can sing. Far better vocally than pretty much all of the chart pish nowadays and I include that wee ginger screecher in that.
