Was at Catfish and The Bottlemen at the barrowlands last tuesday my * what a gig, these lads have a great future in front of them their album The Balcony is absolutely top drawer. They blew the roof clean off the barrowlands as well, great live act.

Next gig is Foo Fighters in June

Going to see Courtney Barnett tomorrow night at the Art School, where I've never been before. Saw her last year at Broadcast where you could barely move downstairs so hopefully this one won't be quite as packed. Her album is my favourite of the year so far.

last band i saw was Lonely the Brave at Tuts few weeks ago,
such a good live band although slightly odd with the singer taking a back seat standing at the back of the stage.

Seen Lynyrd Skynyrd last night at the Auditorium. Unbelievable how good they were. I've seen many classic moments at gigs in my time, but 'Free Bird' at the end was mind-blowing. The end solo ,with the 3 guitars, was just epic. The rest of the show was amazing too.

Got some tickets today, one week in September I'm seeing Mac DeMarco on the Monday, Tame Impala on the Tuesday and Alvvays on the Wednesday. Never seen any of them live, can't wait.

Going to see the magnificent Blackberry Smoke in Edinburgh nexxt Friday. It,s a warm up show for their appearance at the Download Festival, where they have been bumped up to the main stage on the Sunday. Can,t wait. Also going to see Public Image Ltd in September at the 02 ABC. John Lydon is still ,along with Morrissey, the best Lyricist in Britain, ever.

Any good gigs coming up in Glasgow or Edinburgh over the summer? Used to go almost weekly but I haven't been to one in a good while. Not too fussed about the genre.

    Are there tickets left?

I was thinking smaller bands/artists but I'm easy.

Didn't get any notification of Dave Gilmours tour tickets going on sale even though I have signed up for these alerts.

found out tickets went on sale a week after and they sold out pretty much instantly so now the cheapest ticket online for the Albert hall is £500 :31:
