Because we weren't even that bad.

We were playing away from home, against a determined and resilient opposition. Reading some of the stufff on here, you'd be forgiven for thinking we'd been played off the park and lost 3-0. But in fact we lost by the odd goal and had the better of the game, with a new-look team.

My point is that it's mental to judge what the manager can achieve, when he has only had his own team in for one game.

This transfer window has given him the chance to reshape the squad on the basis of his own decisions. Once they've been playing together for three or four months, then it makes sense to start judging whether it's going to work or not. Until then, its just hot air.

Half the * team are on loan so in 3-4 months they will all be * off! They were bad tonight and I thought Killie looked more dangerous than us going forward.
We have much better players than them and we should have beaten them

    Fans are very fickle

Regardless of performance of the team, some of the comments make me think some people are bi polar or dont have a clue.

Fans are too quick to praise and slate. Manager signs several players nobody really heard of and everything is rosy. One match later, sack the manager. Opinions arent grounded at all.

My worry is that Mogga is scared to make key decisions.
Was it wise to play N'Guemo & Ki against a tough, hard working Killie midfield?
What message has been sent out to Samaras & Rasmussen after tonight?
What does McGeady have to do to get dropped, he's knackered & his form of recent has been poor.
Boruc is another one that should be dropped.

Didn't understand why we didn't go 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 when we were chasing the game, what could Brown do from left back, we needed his drive & grit in the middle of the park.

I'm not unrealistic, unless it gets too much for him, Mogga will be here till the end of the season at least, but we need a rapid improvement, & both him & the team need to start showing some guts & determination.

When do you start to say its his own team? The guys signed 14 players so when do we actually start judging him? As I said last week after the hibs game Martin o'Neill seemed to do alright with dr jo and John Barnes players (He had signed 3 players by the time we * Rangers 6-2) so when do we actually start to think that maybe just maybe the manager cant manage?

Some people on Celtic fan forums make me ashamed to be a Celtic supporter, honestly, it's pathetic.

I want the guy to do well, as I want every Celtic manager and every Celtic player to e successful. But even with all the goodwill in the world there has to be questions. I mean, we are still debating many of the same points we were back in September. Take the captaincy merry-go-round for example, as a microcosm of his tenure. The captain is supposed to be the manager's man, his lieutenant on the park, yet 6 months on and neither he or we are any closer to knowing who TM sees as being HIS man. This is only one small example. I am not calling for his head, but there has to be questions. And thats from people who want him to do well... let alone what those hacks in the 'meeja' are conjuring up as I write this.

What price the headline tomorrow: 'Super Killie Go Ballistic, Celtic Are Atrocious'.

What was Scott Brown doing taking the armband from Loovens ? I've never seen that in my time watching football, what a slap in the face for Glenn.

    Mowbray hasn't a clue what he's doing.

And some people like to bury the head in the sand just so they can claim to be faithfull through and through. Thats cool lets all act like possible 3rd place is fine since we can all sing faithfull through and through at parkhead every week cos thats whats really important aint it? Forget the fact we're 10 points behind a Rangers team that we would have put 2 bed long ago 3 years ago!

I understand others opinion but I have never been convinced by Mowbray. I am not willing to wait until the closing of a 5 year plan to see success. Being excited at the signing of Keane yesterday and wanting the managers to gracefully resign tonight does not make me fickle, it forms my opinion. I think that Keane is the boards signing to put bums on the seats... don't think Mowbray would have signed Rasmussen and Kamara had he believed Keane was coming.

just got back from the game..

firstly. I thought killie, who are what 2nd bottom of the lge, did fantanstic. very organised, did what they needed and took full advantage of our team tonight.

*sigh* that was difficult watching. tbh i thought we were gonna be explosive tonight. didnt think killie could have lived with us. instead, we looked frightened to go get that ball and make it happen. we had nothing in midfield to give to our strikers. i would love to see a player at celtic in midfield that would go over and kick yer * * if you were not doing your job! we had noone in the middle, no direction. Mcgeady... oh my. i think for his own good, he needs to be dropped. was naylor injured btw? bit mistified why brown didnt go straight into midfield, even tho naylor came off.

It's nothing to do with that.

It's the pathetic and wormy way in which people are more than happy to roll out the same old cliché's after a narrow draw/defeat.

It's also the fact that a lot of people care more about the ribbing their get off their co-workers after a bad result than the actual result itself. Who * cares about what Rangers and their fans do. I'm a Celtic fan.

McGeady is hurting the team right now, tonight was his worst in a long time. Ki is a luxury player, he can't be playing must win games at places like Rugby Park. Hopefully Brown can get in there and get us moving.

Well for my money it's his own team now, as of the transfer window closing.

My point is that now the basic team is assembled, we can't judge it on its first game.

I'm not pretending that no decisions he's made have given me concern, I'm saying we need to judge these by the overall result.

For me that comes maybe 6 months after the basic squad is put together - but I realise that if it isn't happening by the end of the season (i.e 4 months) he could well be off...

People are going apeshit because they expect us to beat Kilmarnock. Especially when we've just signed new players and one of them being Keane. The team didn't no one another tonight as you said. I'm still backing Mowbray.

So, he should be able to use a quality player regardless of who bought him.

Do you think that Mowbray kicked up a fuss about getting Keane? I dont think so
