In Lancashire, Labour looks set to lose control. It has lost 17 seats so far - including one to the British National Party - the BNP's first county council seat in England.

Granted, they're a bunch of retards, but if everyone was happy (to a certain degree) then they'd not even be on the ballot papers.

It should be used as a big wake up call, and a massive kick up the * to all the main political parties in the UK.

It's not too surprising tbh. people have been becoming incredibly restless about the influx of immigrants, over the last5 -10 years. If i'm honest, i can see why folk are being pushed towards it because they feel that we are bearing the brunt of the financial welfare of non-nationals.

The BNP have played on this and manipulated it for their own gains.

That said, let me just reassure you all that i did not and never will, vote those * into power, i can just see peoples reasons for it.

I voted lib dems for the locals, and socialist labour for the euros,i think the really sad thing about the expenses issue is the furore that has ensued,no doubt understandably, but lets face it Blairs shower told lie after lie to the british public to join in an illegal war resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent people and not many people seem to be demanding an inquiry, ive just heard about the bnp doing well in Burnley, its very sad,you see people with Irish names representing these fascists, words fail me,ok rant over ,peace to all.
