How good exactly are his coaching credentials?
Some player in his day and if he were here I doubt it'd be to play week In week out and more focusing on coaching. But is he a good coach? Big names don't always make great coaches

 

He said himself he will never play for a team where he's likely to face Liverpool, which surely makes us favourites, Klopp said he can't guarantee him playing time and as a self confessed Celtic fan surely he'd jump at the chance

 

He is better than what we have so a yes for me, think him an brown would boss it.

And happy if it's till the summer gives us more time to scout for a better long term CM crimbo/January window is usually pish

 

Think were past them days of bringing in players who are past their best but we bring them in cause they sell a jersey or two.We dont need him and the money and place he would take could go to a better use.

Quite surprised people dont want him, his experience alone would help so many players! I would rather have him playing alongside brown than anyone else we have as well

Gerrard would be a sensation for a few years. Once he seen us, the fans, he would run through walls for us. He would kill shirt sale records, help develop kids at Celtic, and maybe help us get another bargain. Yes please from me, 18 Month deal, but we best sign a young, new, amazing prospect like Moussa Dembele for midfield as well.

 

18 month deal. Can teach from on and off the pitch. When he's not training he'll be amazing for the youth to be around. Guess it depends on if he wants to go back to Liverpool as a coach yet, and how much of a wage drop he's prepared to take.

The only advantage ofhim coming here will be his experience and his knowledge helping the younger players. I dont think he will add to the team as it stands. Perhaps a coaching role with the development team would be more suited to him if he wants to hang up his boots.
