Like how he ran down the clock and took it to the corners when he had the chance... er, no! He didn't! He just gave possession straight up... usually to the nearest opponent!

Well we dont know what Lenny was thinking, but I dont think he would bring a striker on with like 20 mins to go to run the clock down lol

He made a rip roaring * of it tonight.

That bit of play that he completely * up when we were through on goal was * stuff at best. Totally pathetic.

Hooper gave the penalty away and gave away at least three passes during the game. Says a lot too.

I know of the Bangura pass. Pray tell what was the other?

Was it the cutback to Hooper at the edge of the box that Hooper overran? The one that Ki nearly put in? That one? Cause he executed that pass.

If your talking about when he lost the ball on the edge of the box, while frustrating, who would he have passed that one to? Hooper standing still 2 feet away surrounded by defenders? Bangura, who was diagonally behind sammy (possibly offside) if my memory is right?

the penalty was a * joke and hooper is far more deadly in front of goal than sammy and he runs himself in to the ground and does more for the team than I have ever seen sammy do

i know, but samaras gave the ball away at every * touch. if he wasnt there then we would have been able to hold on to possession a lot easier and they might not have got into the opportunity to win the penalty in the first place.

I'm one of Samaras's biggest critics but I can't see how he could be blamed for us not seeing out the game.
How about just being better than some Italian teams second string in the first place? Or managing to score more than one goal in a half where the opposition is absolute *.
Fair enough their goalie made a couple of decent saves but the game should have been buried before Sammy got near the park.

from where a was sitting it looked like it was sammy who hit the pass to late if am wrong then sorry but still 2 golden opportunities and he could have hit the cut back sooner for bangura to run on to when he was coming into the box

No he didn't. When he passed to hooper, hooper * up.

You can't seriously blame samaras for the penalty?

What? you reckon Lenny thought, i'll put on Sammy maybe he'll be able to grab a couple for us? You seriously that deluded?:56:Udinese were starting to get on top of us, Sammys introduction was to hold the ball up and to run the channels, like Lennys wanted him to do in every other euro game he's played, but once again Sammy failed, but, only surprisingly to some, no names mention eh? Danny.:50:

Bullshit. Numerous times throughout the night Forrest gave the ball away incredibly weakly. Ki, Kayal, Mulgrew, Hooper and Bangura all had better games than him IMO.
