Unfortunately we "payed" the mistakes in the defence and although Colombia gave us some space and possesion after their 1st goal, we didn't manage to score although we had some chances to do so. I don't think we deserved that 3-0 but this is football. Sammy played well, he made some assists and he had 1-2 chances to score. It's annoying to watch him keeping the ball for more time than is needed but real problems are other, problem is that you can't be effective with just one striker (Gkekas) who is 34 and so frustrated in the last months, or is completely out of any logic to use Katsouranis (34 I think and lazy) instead of Samaris who plays much better and he's younger too. We have to try more in the next match against Japan, we really can, but not with 34 years old players especially in such a match with those fast Honda players

Well well well if ever further proof was required that Sammy still had so much to offer us then that just confirmed it. Big game player and we've just let him walk away for nought. Congrats big man that took some guts to step up and bury that one.
