alot of us think hes a donkey but it wasnt that when sammy scored that double at ipox, everyone was raving then and before that, when he scored the winner in russia for us to play arsenal in the play-off round of the champions league but then he missed a very vital penatly in the last old-firm game which would have ment we won the spl last season, anyway i liked sammy and i hope he does well, just as long as long as we get at least £3/4m for sammy

    BYE BYE SAMMY

Great news for Celtic if he goes for £2 or £3 Million, I can't believe Sunderland are that desperate to get him.

Honestly, some of your posts lately are suited to a board designed for the other side of the Old Firm. Your frustration is understandable but you've even managed to bring Samaras into threads that don't even slightly concern him over the last while, not including this thread obviously.

Dare I say, if it wasn't for your status you would have probably been warned by now.

My main point is this man loves the club and the supporters, he gives his all and that can't be argued unless you want to peddle the lazy myth. He's been a victim of insults, even at some games and that's something he does not deserve. We're quick to label our support fantastic but we really do need to learn to respect players, it's not his fault you don't rate him as a footballer.

You come across as if you hate him as a person, look up ever interview he's done in a Celtic shirt and you can tell he's a great guy - he deserves a little respect at least.

I think it's about time he moved on. Gave me alot of happy memories and I thank him for it. He tried his best for us... sometimes.

Very well said. I totally agree to what you say about respecting players but I also think it is time for Sammy to move on. I just can't see him bringing our team forward anymore but I wish him all the best down south!

I've never booed him while I've been at a game. That's as much respect as Samaras is going to get from me. He's let the team down way too often and I want him to get to *. Now. I'm mortally sick of seeing the clown in a Celtic strip.

Oh, and one other thing, if my posts merited a warning I'd have received one. Staff members have to abide by the forum rules just the same as anybody else.

this is a dog eat dog business,no room for the weak.

if sammy does move to Sunderland, then good luck, all this rubbish about treating him with respect goes or went down the swanny months ago

he took his wages while contributing very little or nothing to most fans

he wont be missed by me,celtic is too big for him this was proved

thanks for the hun goals and cheerio

I will always remember your goals at Ibrox big Sammy. And when you pretended to chuck the ball in Barry "Bawbag" Ferguson's face. It's a shame you couldn't maintain your fantastic form of your first one or two seasons. All the best in your future career big man :celt_2:

Meanwhile, sources at Sunderland have dismissed suggestions that they are considering Celtic's Greece international, Georgios Samaras, as a potential target as they look for a striker. A WELL TO GOOD TO BE TRUE

Sunderland just bid 10m for Crouch. Probably wouldn't have went there anyway.

we get it Butch, you don't like Brown. again you've managed to pull him into a thread that has nothing to do with him.

baba deal fell through. so it looks as if sammy is staying

I'm not really that excited as I think he is a good not great player, but that little party is just for the bashers.
