Mind you alot of fans wanted him gone not so long ago,theres a few guys on my bus who detest sammy and still will after last night.

 

I have to admit I was one of the guys that could have chocked him to death! Now I can't see us playing without him

 

I had an idiot of a guy behind me like that at Motherwell last week.

Was going on about how much he hated Sammy and Forrest for that matter.

Everytime either of them touched the ball he shouted "you are f*cking *, you are no good enough".

He then kept going on about how all Sammy cared about was his hair and finger nails and he would never support him no matter what he does.

When the crowd started singing "ooh ah samaras" he still wouldnt shut up and kept saying ill never bring myself to sing his name.

I was so close to losing it with the guy. Why pay £25 to moan about our players?

I bet he cheered last night when Sammy scored though!!

 

He is a very good player for simple reasons:

1) He is fast considering he is a big guy,great pace

2)He got excellent technique for his size

3)He is there for the big games.Who cares if he is lazy against Dundee if he scores in Europe.Without rangers you got the title in your pocket anyway.

IMO anyone who couldnt see Sammy was a good player is blind. He has always been a good player. His only problem is that he is inconsistent in front of goals. Even so he has so much in his locker that really doesnt matter. i would say most Euro opposition manangers would say the Celtic player who gives them the fear is Sammy.

 

always saw his potential , but two years ago i would have traded him for a fish supper, shows how much i know now im scared shitless when hes no in the lineup
