I'm content with a 0-0 draw from the game, as i did not feel threatened by Benfica at all, though i dont feel we threatened them enough either, something that could have been done with Sammy.

He's a big player for us. Simple as that.

With a team like this there is absolutley no way we could lose, best player to have every played for celtic by far

 

why would you want to carry a passenger, when you say forrest was crap, now you would want him, what is commons going to do for you in the team remember he failed before. when he had 3 guys help him on that side cross a ball in, who are you depending on now, to cross the ball on to Hooper so it looks like sammy has the cross to bear here hes to take the ball in. Commons has to sit in the whole 2 guys against 5 defenders no chance, Sammy can be a bit greedy like wise HOOPER so our attack is all depending on sammy and what hat he has on that day, could see the time run out quicker in this game, before we made a dent. at any one given time there would not be any more than 2 players in there box and by the time they did they then would be facing 6 defenders with your team mate.

 

I said i thought Forrest was hopeless on Wednesday night, I do not think he's a hopeless player. On his day he's one of the best about and can have any defence on the backfoot.

Commons is going to bring goals, that's why he's our top scorer.

We missed Samaras on the left of the park because Izaguirre and Commons would not go to the by line like Sammy does.

The reason i mentioned James Forrest was because he also would not go to the by line.
