    Samaras was definitely one of our best 10 players all season and certainly during the 2nd half of the season. Never thought I'd say this but he's now one of my "must keeps" within the squad....bar a crazy offer.

    Been to all home games and some away but there a lot of fans around me in the north stand and off my bus who feel the same way, so you are the minority ones not me, useless lazy one of our worst strikers, how many goals last season ha ha proves my point:50::56:

    True he doesnt have a great conversion rate. Lazy? Sometimes but looks to me more like his confidence is low probably due to tools callin him a useless lazy * (of which at times i also have done) stricker? No i believe not, he may have started his career off as a stricker but chris sutton began as a centre half so because he is now a winger/playin off of a stricker does that make him less of a threat? Nah so leave the big loreal advert alone

    Samaras was one of our top performers last season, anyone who couldn't see that either doesn't know football or bases their opinions on their hatred for the guy. He doesn't score many goals but he plays left mid for us most of the time and creates a lot of chances from there. Im pretty sure he was one of our top assisters last season. I get the feeling however that no matter how well he will ever play, people will still refuse to accept him.

    Not only is he a fine player, he also loves Celtic. Love him.

    Btw, his lack of finishing is some due to him, but a lot do to years of bad service. Our midfield was dreadful during Sammy's worst years. Let's not forget that.

    Everyone has a right to their opinion, and therefore everyone has the right to criticise any player in our squad (except Mulgrew, as I will stone you to death).

    However see if you are going to criticise a player, can you please at least get his * position right. Saying Samaras is a * striker is silly considering he played all of last season on the wing (Where he did a good job). Say he is a * winger all you like but don't call him a striker.
