I honestly cannot believe he's won me round but he certainly has. What a player when he's on his game and so consistent for us just now.

Did well to set up the Ledley header, showed a lovely touch to float the ball over the keeper.

Credit must go to the manager with regards to Sammy.

Everybody including me wanted rid of him after his 2 goals at Ipox while his stock was high. Lennon stuck with him and a lot of credit to us winning games the way we have played is down to Samaras.

Hands up from me. The guy has turned it around and * good on him.

I think we all knew on his day Samaras was simply unplayable at times, he showed this in the EL as well when better quality defenders simply couldn't handle his pace and power. He is showing his talent consistently now, he can change games and defenders are scared when he runs at them because of his running power. It is great to watch.

Mate see when we took him on loan, I wouldn`t have took him at the end of that season. He was awrite I thought, but he didnt weigh in with enough goals.

He`s still a good player on his day. When he drops that shoulder and goes by folk he makes it look easy. I can remember when he just came to us and Sammy kept drifting out to the wing and everybody tellin him to get his * in the box.

Lennon has spotted this and has started playing him at left midfield. Which arguably have been some of his best games.

We knew there was a player in there. It`s good to see him doing the business. If anybody deserves to win this league its Sammy. :50:

thought he was utterly unplayable at times tonight, man deserved a goal. immense credit has to be given to lenny to getting the best out of him, as unbelievable as it may have seemed a couple months ago, sammy is one of my favourite celtic players at the moment.

sure he can be frustrating as *, but when he's on form he's unstoppable; had no problems with stokes being dropped for sammy tonigh, and i love stokesy as well!

    OOH AH SAMARAS!!!!!!!

Excellent tonight and has been for a few months now. Said this on another forum, he'd be our best player if he'd play the simple 5 yard pass sometimes instead of just charging into a crowd of defenders. Not trying to get a dig in at him for the sake of it. SPL defence's can't handle him.

    My thoughts exactly mate.

The league cup final last season he had everybody on his back cos he was tryin to do it all himself as you say.

He was tryin to beat like 5 huns at a time which, as * as they were isny gony happen.

He is now usin his head and we are reapin the benefits I think. He still goes on mad Paddy McCourt runs at times but he is much improved. :50:

    Sammy is a beast..

It's a shame we often have to drop Stokes but it just goes to show the incredible depth in this squad.

    I'm not picky.
I'm SO glad that Sammy is playing well. I have always liked him and have always wanted him to do well but I was getting to a point where I thought that it would be best for the club to let him go. Really pleased that he's proving us all wrong now - especially his haters :50:

I think it was really all to do with confidence with Sammy and maybe that public verbal bashing Lennon said a couple of months ago about Samaras being the one that will lose him his job as manager has maybe given him an "I'll show everyone they are wrong" attitude because since then he's been getting better and better.

    Long may it continue too.

delighted for the big man. He's putting in some top drawer performances and he should be proud of the fact that he's contributing to what could be a fantastic season for us.

One of his best performances in the hoops. Deserved a goal.

When Sammy plays like he did last night, he is just unplayable. When he gets running with the ball defenders just bounce off of him, something we've seen all too little at Celtic but he'* form over the past 4 months or so and IMO it's the best run he's had here. Hope he keeps it up.

I don't like seeing Sammy's name on the teamsheet when we go to places like Ibrox and Tynecastle. But to be fair to the big man, he was really good last night. Well done Georgios.

Can't believe some people actually wanted to sell him in January. He's proving all his doubters wrong and I'm happy for him :50:

his turn around in form is great. really starting to show some consistency with his performances which he has always lacked. credit to him and hope he keeps it up.
