I hope Sammy will score 2-3 goals in his next games and it will work for him,but if doesn`t I wish him the best

    You can't play a forward at left-back! He wouldn't score..............oh wait.....

As far as outlandish suggestions go this one tops the lot.

RB would be an option "right back" in Greece

He's played there numerous times for us.

    It doesn't work.

Samaras shouldn't be in the team at all, never mind shifting other players about trying to accommodate the imposter.

Thought he played decent there. With Commons out and Lennon reluctant to play McCourt we wouldn't be making a drastic change.

I'd imagine McFadden would slot in nicely there :celt_2:

Like him or not, but he's going to a major football tournament with greece once again.

If we sign him it would be interesting to see where he plays. He would probably fit quite nicely in there, but where that would leave Commons....

Doesn't really mean anything? He's still baffling and hopeless for us.

Hopefully he isn't a Celtic player by summer 2012.

He is getting picked by a decent side week in week out. That's an achievement not many in our squad have earned.

I agree he looks hopeless and frustrating at times, but he still plays for our club and I fail to see why I should not support him when he puts on the hoops.

Also the childish insults and remarks about his hair, looks etc makes me feel like being back at kindergarten again. Don't mean you CelticFC1967 mate.

i always remember sammy's start in strachan's last season, he was brilliant, scored something like 10-12 goals in the first 12 games before he got injured; hasn't been the same since

it is baffling though to see him rifle in crucial goals for his country whereas he's a consistent flop for us; far and away the most frustrating and enigmatic player i've seen play for us

I agree with your post, he got booed coming on the pitch a couple of weeks ago - not on! Doesn't detract from the fact that it's just not happening for him at Parkhead - surely it's best suited to all parties that he moves on?
