In fairness, its the third person shooter/multiplayer spinoff they released this year rather than the traditional PvZ games.

 

help required, found myself in Game twice today wanting to buy a game(crazy i know) and both times came out empty handed, not sure whats going on! ps4 player...heard good things from people on here about shadow of mordor. That and far cry seem favourites.. Any other games i should look at?

 

I'm struggling like * to get into any game at the moment.

 

The last of us if you haven't played it yet Assassin's Creed is alright but a very glitchy watchdog's is alright but it's not something you will play after finishing it

 

That along with second son & Fifa 14 are in a bag for trade in! Get what you mean as soon as i finished watch dogs never played it again. Will have a look again tomorrow, feeling am just going to end up with GTA anyway! cheers.

 

I'm the same as you right now everything just feels the same and I keep knocking off things before I finish there's nothing even exciting coming out soon

 

I recommend Dragon Age.

Didn't think I'd like it but I'm completely sucked into it right now. Played about 25 hours and I've barely touched the main story. There's just so much to do.

Is it like skyrim?

 

Yes and know.

It's an RPG like Skyrim and it's all swords/bws/shields/magic etc like Skyrim. Kind of a cross between Skyrim and Mass Effect.

Rather than one massive open world, it has a few huge open worlds that you can travel between at any point - once you unlock them which you can do easily enough.

If you've ever played Mass Effect you'll know what I mean in terms of dialogue options where you choose what your character (that you can customize pretty thoroughly) says and you influence how other characters react to you.

Plus you play in a party. So you have your own character and you can choose another 3 characters to tag along with you. And you can play as either of them at any time.

 

If you like fps buy Metro Redux it's only £24.99, it's really immersive with a great story and it has the best graphics on PS4, the only other games i would recommend atm are Shadow Of Mordor and Alien Isolation.

2014 has been a bad year for consoles, those 3 along with TLOU and GTA 5 are the only games worth playing right now imo.

 

So there was quite a few new things shown off at the Playstation Live Experience. Street Fighter V will be a PS4 console exclusive, Uncharted 4 got a gameplay video, and a Final Fantasy 7 remaster was announced among other things.

How are the missions, is there a lot of fetch quests?

Haven't bought it yet but PC player's have been tearing it apart since it came out, Inquisition was supposed to be an mmo but they changed it to a single-player game and from what I've seen it shows, the quests look very grindy and the dialogue and combat look much weaker than Origins, I've also never even heard one person mention the story or ending and that's what Dragon Age is known for.

 

Uncharted looked incredible, the environments seem to be pretty open with multiple paths as opposed to previous games which were linear.

Only listened to Podcast Beyond a handful of times to be honest but I'll definitely be listening to their new stuff.

 

Metro redux was just epic, the storyline , graphics, gameplay its all superb..

Voice actors are pretty horrible though, they have adults do the voices for the kids, creepy as *.

 

Anyone played the evil withing, is it good? Bought it yesterday for £17, seen some clips, looks a good creepy game

 

Too scary for me.
