He repeats himself over and over too, watch the next time he does a game how he repeats the same point about 10 times "John has been great", "great tackle by John, he's having a great game", "my word John has been impressive", "just watch the positioning by John there, fantastic"

or

"Barcelona's possession of the ball has been superb", "Barcelona place huge emphasis on ball retention", "Look how calm Barcelona's players are on the ball, their ball retention is 2nd to none", "excellent play by Xavi, he's been great in possession of the ball"

Its all stuff everyone knows as well he repeats.

Another guy that annoys me is Paul "I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean... I mean" Merson cant say a sentance without repeating "I mean" a couple of times. The length of time hes been on Soccer Saturday you could probably make a 10 minute video of all the times he's said "I mean". I like him though, can be quite funny but just repeating that all the time goes right through you.

 

I like Merson on SS. Bit of a class clown, especially when he can't pronounce any foreign names. Thompson annoys me.

 

Thought he was under-rated as a player.

Think he's a great pundit.
