    He does not try to hide his allegiances to Man Ushited, but does keep as impartial as possible.

    Speaks a lot of sense, even though his voice/accent is genuinely annoying as *!

    That's how I feel too. I'd actually say he's a really good pundit. Don't enjoy him on commentary though.

    Interesting, pundits often comment from the safety of a studio (Burley for example) but rarely become active in the coaching side. Although only a coaching position under a manager, its chance for him to practice what he preaches on TV.

    Maybe some of his colleagues should follow his example.

    Didn't see that one coming, guessing he'll still be working for sky sports though?

    As a player, not a fan at all. As a pundit, probably my favourite out of the Sky Sports lot. Knows what he's talking about.

    Hope his team gets pumped in the Euros though.

    Seems to talk a lot of sense, he's a very respected ex-footballer as well that isn't long out the game. Very interesting move, that could turn out to be a very shrewd one.

    We'll see though.

    He puts the likes of Redknapp to shame with his knowledge of the game. Easily the best pundit in the game, he is however a very annoying commentator. Especially in the European games when there is an english team involved. That's what all the commentators are like though

    All the talk of epl,sky and seen his name mentioned on a clip,not sure if he's already got a thread but what about this guy?....

    Used to not really like the guy at all,but then he joined sky and his analysis and everything he says I ind myself agreeing with something no other pundit on any channel manages to do for me...
    Guy knows his football and he's the best out there I actually look forward to him on Monday nights and when he's doing the games,what must poor old andy Gray think :smiley-laughing002:

    So cringey when you think of who we usually have Craig burley's,davie provan and andy talker!
