Good choice from Sky, know's the game inside out.

 

I don't really watch Sky that much unless we are playing but from what I've heard Neville say he sounds quite reasonable and talks a lot of sense. So no I don't have any problems with him either.

 

I prefer redknapp to neville, but both are pretty decent.

 

i think he has been good thats coming from someone who hated him and united and 10 times better than that hun andy gray and i hate ray wilkins with all his complemints

 

I think Neville is very good to be honest.A mile better than Wilkins and Redknapp.Wilkins always sounds like he's commentating on a kids footy match and Redknapps just a poser.that fella Alan Smith though...Jesus Christ!!!could fall asleep durin the derby when that boring bell end is on.
Also,gotta laugh when Neville is doin the computer stuff on Monday night football lol

He is excellent and knows his stuff.

Says a lot for some people's mentality that Gary gets it in the neck whilst a * like Chris Kamara is revelled as a 'legend' for acting like a clown on Soccer Saturday.

I think Gary Neville has been good as an analyst. He was really nervous at first but he's settled in to it now.

 

Him and souness are the best i think, neither pull their punches and they dont just sit there spinning of cliches like redknapp or possibly the most annoying pundit ever 'Ray well done son wilkins' .

 

Always hated him as a player but I think he is an excellent pundit. Gets everything spot on. Far better than Andy Gray and that tool Jamie Redknapp

I like him and usually think hes fine.

But tonight it seemed like he was just beeling that the last remaining English team were getting horsed and he couldnt take teams from "the best League in the world" getting pumped like that off Italian teams.

 

He's was saying some absurd things, talking about how this team is just Cavani and Lavezzi..umm ya Hamsik, Inler, Maggio, Gargano..there not top International players How biased the English can be when it comes to the EPL compared to other leagues in Europe is shocking.

 

he is okay in the epl because that is all he knows. its the same with most english pundits they show a complete lack of respect for leagues outside the epl which is shocking considering they are paid to give an opinion and the fact they don't have enough information on football outside the epl means they can't give an informed or unbiased opinion

 

Precisely they have little or no knowledge of any football apart from the EPL, my * its ridiculous, i am a Celtic fan and i know almost all of the top teams in the top leagues, i know their main players, i know how good/bad they are and i know loads of players in loads of leagues, these guys get paid money to KNOW about european football.

The english commentators simply have no in depth knowledge of any league but their own.
