Hopefully Armstrong will go with him. They will struggle to sustain a long distance relationship.

Another part of the dead wood were hopefully rid of, average player at best. Should never kick a ball for us after the gutless performance against the newco. Hopefully Armstrong follows, neither of them will every cut it on a champions league night(if we make it). League starts and Sunday and we've spent 500k were a laughing stock. Fans sold down the river once again.

Another player in need of a heart transplant. Good player but total shitebag. I think I could copy and paste that comment for a few celtic players.

He's a better player than Armstrong, and has contributed to quite a lot of goals, scoring and assisting..... But his shitebagness won't be forgotten, he has to go..

It's hard to know who's the * between the pair of them..

Not fussed at the slightest with him leaving.

Had high hopes for him, unfortunately he has the heart the size of a mouse *.

It also kinda brings home that even the best of the rest in Scotland like him, Armstrong, Allan, Ciftci are not good enough for Celtic.. Griffiths the exception in recent years..

Yeah that signing players from the Scottish league policy really has failed.

I would feel bad for the lhad if he really is being loaned without haven't had the chance to at least kick a ball in front of BR.
That's no reflection on my part on his capabilities one way or the other - it's one thing to be deemed surplus (like Alan, Henderson and no doubt some more before we're done) having at least had your chance in pre-season, but if this decision is made it's based on last year's effort (which a lot of the time, at least in SPL was not bad)

Tbh I'm pretty surprised it hasn't. You'd think the stand out players who we play against would fit in decently but they have pretty much all fallen off. Unless we get an insane talent come through, I suppose it's an area we should stay clear of.

I applaud Deila for going down that avenue and giving it a bash, but *.......if WE can't even attract decent enough players to Scotland, then how the * are the rest of them gonna do it?

In the near future, if we're gonna want to go down that route again of picking the best from a "homegrown" perspective, then we should be looking no further than our own academy, as opposed to academy graduates of other clubs......especially Scottish.

Aye one thing about our Academy players is you can be sure they'll play for the jersey and put everything into each performance. Think most of them are Celtic fans from when they were young. Most importantly some cracking players it looks like too.

I expect Brendan to give a few a chance. He likes putting confidence in the youth players

We signed, the Dundee Utd front 3 and started them in our CL qualifier....and some people are surprised that didn't work out?!
What with Dundee Utd's stellar performances in Europe and all.
