I can remember this forum used to want to fiddle Deilas * and take a bath with GMS because he giggled so much in interviews. Thank * Rodgers is here and players like GMS are rightfully only fringe players.

Probably talking Championship level, if so that is a tough league and he isn't the type to get stuck in, as you say maybe better staying up here with one of the provincial clubs.

Yeah, ruthless league the championship. Also, think he'd get lost among the spice boy types and end up homesick and yearning for a bowl of soup from the Ross County tea lady

GMS has the talent but unfortunately he seems to be afraid to use it with us the way he did with United. Sometimes players cant adapt to stepping up a level and it seems this is what is happening with him.He would be a great addition to Hibernian or the sheep as maybe with game time he would get his confidence back.

Got a feeling he'll probably run his contract down, rather than move on. Same with Ciftci.

Huns are in a similar position with all the guff they have, but these players know they're at the biggest club they'll ever play for on the biggest salary they'll ever receive.

Hard to shift these players permanently without at least a pay off.

Not sure. I imagine GMS isn't on a huge wage, something that any English championship team could afford without blinking an eye.

I do agree about Ciftci though. He has had a variety of admirers for loan deals but, as far as I know, he hasn't shined anywhere. I can't see anyone shelling out for him. His contract doesn't run out until 2019. He won't get a better deal elsewhere. He'll say and rot. Best thing we can do is either allow him to walk or continue to loan him out. We'll do whatever is cheapest but it's a shame we can't get rid like we will GMS.

It was the St mirren game that * his career here to be honest I think he struggles to make the step up

That first half season here he played well and made an impact along with Armstrong, then he was brilliant in pre-season only to disappear and never come back. A shame since he has talent just far too inconsistent and if Rodgers can't get through to him then just get rid asap.

I think we should offer him as part of the Hayes deal. Would probably thrive in their team.

Is there a source for this? That's quite an accusation.

He was a bit too busy preening and making sure his hair looked nice.

He's probably a very nice boy.

Which is probably his hinderance as a footballer.

Correct, no player at Celtic over the past 3 seasons has ever been "forced" to take any pain killing medication.
