We all know he has some ability but it's always been his mentality that's in question.

Nothing against the boy, just don't think he's as good as Forrest/Sinclair/Paddy and that's the level we need now.

If there's anyone that can fix that it's Rodgers, just needs time.

Thought he played better in the second half yesterday. Thought he was a lot more aggressive and determined to close the ball down and win the ball back. Few good runs from him as well. He was pulling of a few tricks as well which I haven't seen him to do in a while. Hopefully that is a sign that he is getting his confidence back and is going to get back to his best. He just needs his confidence back and I think he will over the next while when Roberts and Forrest are out. That is as long as Rodgers picks him and he doesn't play McGregor as a winger.

*, if Armstrong can play in RB, then McGregor might make a winger. :56:

I don't want McGregor as a winger, but he has been played there before. Definitely better played centrally.

aye it does seem to happen a fair bit, actually didn't play too bad yesterday. Definitely a confidence player. Some good tracking back in second half yesterday.

I thought he was better yesterday. Still not very effective but certainly a lot more confident. Seemed to link up well with Armstrong. Hopefully he can improve on that.

    From the Q&A with Stu.

Can Stuart confirm that @Gary__11 rarely offers to pay for tea/coffee/lunch/dinner?
    SA: Crocodiles in his pockets!

My son had you for 1st goal scorer, on Saturday. Would you like to know what he called you when you missed an open goal?

SA: Something similar to when I don't run @Gary__11's bath the right temperature?

Frustrating that he'll probably never cut it here as he's clearly capable of making life * for defenders at any level but just doesn't seem to have the physical/mental toughness to reach his potential here. A guy with his ability really should have had a better career.

Is his contract up? ... Don't think there will be many offers to take him off our hands. We definitely need an upgrade though.

Would be happy with Sinclair, Jamesy, Onyekuru & a Paddy Roberts replacement... Or Paddy Roberts! :brendy:

I was at the semi as well mate and he was the stand out worst player... I couldn't believe what I was seeing from him. I do, however, disagree that he'll be first out the door. I think BR sees something we don't. If anyone is capable of turning it all around, it's the manager.

    Hopefully he surprises us.

It will take a lot, but if he turns out to play how BR wants him to, I know I'll forgive him.

    Eventually :84:

    He was a disgrace..

Moving well on from that though and he's done nothing. Looks lost and out his depth even in and around the squad these day's..

Shame how it's panned out as he did have something but his mentality is awful. Almost Pukki-esque..

Brendan probably does think he's a nice player in training but I think the real reason we didn't let him move, or he didn't move was because Shooders is carefully managed, Roberts was injured for a long time, leaving only Sinclair as a safe starter every week..

Just not gold enough, Calvin Miller should get any game time he gets. But in Brendan we trust.

I think a player like GMS highlights the gulf in class between the current celtic side and a team like Aberdeen who are their closest rivals. In the Celtic team he just doesnt look all that good and I would be surprised if he was still around after we strengthen in the summer transfer window. But if he played for a team like Aberdeen Im sure he would be one of their best players. There is such a gap and I think GMS sits firmly in the middle.
