I said in the match thread that he doesn't ever look like he's going to beat his full back so far this season

His form was a bit up and down at Utd, according to my mates. No doubt he is a cracking player and proved this last season when he arrived, he works hard has plenty is his locker, but they say consistency was a bit of an issue.

Poor again today, done pretty much nothing going forward. Mad how he played great in pre-season but now a good few games into the real season he's yet to kick a ball.

    Forrest should start against Malmo.

Looks very, very indecisive about everything.

"Should I take this guy on"

    "Should I shoot"

    "Should I pass"

I don't understand it either. He was looking good pre-season.

Aye, even last season he always looked dangerous and mostly played well.

So far this season in the competitive games he's done absolute nothing in any game. Maybe could do with a few weeks on the bench, that happened to him last season at Dundee Utd then he came back into their team and was on fire right up till we signed him.

I wouldn't start him midweek. Hopefully Commons is available.

Starting to show the inconsistencies I expected last season. Although I disagree with Venglos about his work rate, he is a wee nuisance to the other team. He does have a point about Ronny having wee pets. McGregor playing ahead of Commons last season and in front of Stokes this season. I get the impression that GMS will start on Wednesday no matter what when Forrest looked as sharp as ever last week.

watching him today, he looks shattered all ready, imo he was not needed to play at all today, forrest has his best games in ages midweek, is subbed and then plays no part in the next game.

GMS always looks shatered but he just keeps running all game. Think he's struggling to find his place in the team, he obviously has quality but is a bit too inconsistent just needs to keep working through it.

Forrest deserves the nod ahead of him after midweek, but he will come good again. As cookiemonster said, he can be inconsistent, like a lot of wide players.

He seems lost when he has to play on the left which baffles me as he played there for united a fair bit and did well. Maybe he's carrying an injury, and doesn't want to say as he's worried about losing his place, but something is definitely off with his game at the moment.

Awful again today. Getting really * off with him.

Should've scored at the death but took far too many touches.

Forrest played a blinder midweek and I've got a feeling Ronny was keeping him fresh for Wednesday night by not featuring him today.

His passing is pretty poor, even when he's playing well.

When he's playing bad its abysmal.

I think Forrest is an absolute shoe in to start on Wednesday, that's the only reason he was left out today.

GMS could be our ace in the hole coming off the bench, think Gump should start on Wednesday and then bring GMS on for the last 25 mins to run at them.

    I agree with this.

I'm not a fan of Forrest but he played well mid-week and I'd like to see him have a go at these Ikea *.

If he scored the goal which sent us through I'd worship him forever.
