    You are right kris :50: and we could also add Adam Mathews, Victor Wanyama, Fraser Forster, Beram Kayal, Thomas Rogne, might have missed some out, but there is not one player in amongst them, who is over 25. If we can keep this lot together for a good few years, while the "BAWBAGS" beg for money & help, this team will develop quickly, gel together quickly, get to know each others moves, and in turn will dominate in Scotland, and reclaim our Club's pride back in Europe. :ynwacelti

    No, you're not. Of the two talents, GMS has more skill and would fit into our side the best, IMO. However, Russell is a very effective player and we'd do well to add him to our squad. :celt_2:

    I like both but think they should maybe stay at United another season then snap them up when the likes of Commons are too old and Hooper wants to leave. I like the idea of having a good Scottish base as well, the likes of our Captain, Forrest, McGeouch, Mulgrew and these two. However I still hold a candle for Rhodes and the chatter surrounding an EPL move for him has quietened but very, very unlikely.

    Russel reminds me of Steven Naismith in his style of play, very clever and creative but wouldn't class him as an out-and-out striker.

    don't get me wrong, i'm excited about Russell but i feel GMS would fit in to our style better. i want both here at the start of next season. if they're not at Paradise i would like them to stay at Dundee Utd. we could get GMS on a free next Summer or a cut price in Jan and they would continue to develop.

    i think these two along with Dixon and Daly have made Dundee Utd the best team to watch outside of us this season. really hope we get Russell, GMS and Dixon tbh. all scottish and would provide depth in quality and challenge for first team slots.

    don't know why i have never made the comparison before. very similar players.

    hopefully he turns into Naismith's quality when he outgrows Utd. hopefully though he doesn't turn into the * of a man Naismith is.
