I'll be pretty disappointed if some championship team signs GMS. Will probably be even more annoyed if it turns out we made little effort to sign one of the most exciting Scottish prospects in the last few years.

 

I'll say it again, I wasn't impressed by him. He got an assist and a goal versus us, more through our complete lack of defending than any genius by him. Nothing he did was outstanding. All i've seen him do is random FIFA tekkers to impress his mates, but ultimately ends up on his *. Show me one of his skills actually ending in a great goal then i'll maybe come around, but until then i'll continue to view and label him as overhyped.

 

If you weren't impressed by him in the Semi then I don't think you were watching the same player as me in all honesty. You seem very quick to play down his goal and assist, whether we defended poor or not, he punished us for it, but you don't want to give him any credit for it.

 

Best deal we've ever done selling him. Haven't looked back since!

i dont think he meant spend six million on him if it was me offer 1.5 mill each decent price for us and decent return for united

 

Anyone that can do this sort of thing would flourish at a team where players could actually finish!

The boy has pace, skills and can see a pass. Would take him in a heartbeat.

 

I reckon we could pick up the pair for £1.25M. At that price, and with their potential, it would be a steal. I think both would be pushing for a starting place.

GMS did not impress me again.

 

Yep, once again utter *, he was a poor anonymous victim. Russell did more than him in the 10 mins he was on.

Would not mind signing Russell at all, but GMS is ridiculously over rated. His 5 star fifa skills don't mean * in real life and he's had 1 good game against us in about 20, so I don't care how much tekkers he shows against the likes of Ross County and St Mirren.
He's not good enough.

 

Yet to see GMS play well against us.

 

Semi Final at Hampden. Goal and an assist and was a threat every time he got the ball.

 

I must have missed a lot of games against Dundee Utd, considering he has only made 54 appearances in total!

 

Mackay-Steven is too Chris Burke like for me.

Sign Russell the Sevcoskelper though.

 

Aye Russell looks like the better player, but maybe together they have a good understanding. I'm up for signing both, but not at silly prices.
