    Ffs, away and * man,

larsson missed chances, pele missed chances, maradona missed chances

strikers miss chances, what makes a good striker is if you don't worry about missed and look to score the next chance...hooper does this, scored the other day after missing, but was wrongly flagged offside.

    stupid thread.

Hoops is a great finisher & in magic form, probably the first time I've heard a fan say he is missing chances.

I agree with you, but I don't feel Hooper should be criticised, Stokes should just be appreciated more.

I agree with everything you said there Paddy except from the part in bold, the man has a point and, tbh, he's correct in what he's saying.

in what way is he correct in basically saying hooper should be criticised for the handful of misses that he can remember, how about looking at the goals he's scored,

    i stuck by stokes aswell.

i still think it's a stupid thread, but he's entitled to an opinion, as am i, in thinking it's a stupid thread.

i no what you mean it was like when keane was here last year if he missed a chance it was "unlucky robbie" but if samaras missed it he should face a firing squad although you cant slag hooper hes a great player him a hooper should get more support if anything can hardly fault them

This thread in a word is pointless.

Hooper didnt get slated because he worked his * of all game and obviously scores loads for us anyway so it would be ridiculous to slate him, maybe if it was murphy who done he wouldve got slated since hes contributed very little as it is.

He's not saying Hooper should be criticized for his misses, he is saying they should both be treated equally in the amount of chances they miss. Tbh I think Hooper misses more than Stokes and even though people say there is no Stokes without Hooper, I believe it is the same the other way around.

People get * when players who have talent play consistantly *, or constantly miss sitters.
    Has Hooper done either?

its amazin some of the threads posted just to cause a stir. Hooper is a class act. even when he hasnt scored a goal in a game he contributes more than most.

no but he's complaining about a handful of chances that he can remember hoops missin..

hooper looks more promising than stokes does, but both are brilliant.

hooper works harder and has a better attitude... they both have good link up, so there is absolute nohing to complain about...

it only looks good... but somehow negativity has creeped in to some people's heads.

the guy is a class act. his hold up play, great touches, assists. he is getting into the positions to score. some you score, some you dont. when he misses his head doesnt go down and he keeps trying. great player imo and makes stokes a better player too. long live the partnership.

I know where your coming from....also people would happily drop stokes whos scored more regularly in the 2nd part of the season for Hooper who hasn't. Not meant to be a dig at Hoops because he is class but I think Stokes deserves a bit of credit which he doesn't seem to get as much as what Hooper does even though hes our top scorer??
