Really impressed by Hooper .... my only real concern - and this is me being picky - is that i dont know if can play upfront himself ...... the only reason i even mention this is that i think we have looked our strongest this year when we have played this way.
I think Hooper's form and goalscoring threat means he should be in the team - i think we may well need someone to play alongside him.
I guess I find myself wishing that alongside his talent he was 6ft 4 and built like the side of a house .... but i guess if he was that he'd be playing for a bigger club than Celtic.

Sooner he is fit the better ...

only read the op but a was talking about him in the summer trying to convince my mates that he would score a barrel load and they wouldnt believe me saying we need a keane or bellamy but this boy has almost every thing he isnt the biggest and that might be what we are missing but he will score a barrel load and imo he isnt that far of a england cap might sound a bit mad but he really is that good he can hold the ball up and he can link play and for somebody his size that isnt that easy but a was banging on about him the same way I am trying convince ma mates about other players in the championship or lower leagues but they just dont realise some of the quailty that can be found in these leagues

most of the season he has played upfront on his own bring balls down and waiting for players to get behind him thats why we have been so good with him in the team but we definitely need a target man that has a goal scoring nature about him to partner him because then we really would see the best of him the boy plays on the line but makes some amazing runs and if he didnt have to do so much we would see this there is a lot to come from hooper so just wait and see

Is a great player, when i was at the aberdeen match, was watching him, and his movement is so intelligent, knows where to be and how to put the ball in the net. That is all you can ask for a striker.
He will be good enough for the england team, which is a pity as he'll only get played if he leaves us. (or we do amazing in europe, he gets a call up and then manages to keep his place). So can see him ending up at Totenham at some point (maybe via another team).

I agree mate, if they can call up Jay Boothroyd then Hooper can definitely get a game. Doubt he will while playing for us though, like we saw with Sutton and Thompson, they were good enough but not really given a chance because they played in scotland.
