Seriously? You need to pay more attention. This lad did alot more movement than McDonald used to do. And he's scoring!

he scored one tap in the whole game. for me that was the only positive about his whole performance. i thought he looked out of place and off the pace the whole game. yes be happy he scored a goal but more worrying for me was that he isnt big, isnt quick and didnt seem to be involved much at all.

ultimately if he scores more than skippy for us, and included in taht is in the big games like rangers and the ac milan's of the world then we'll all be happy I'd think.

he's got himself off to an easy start with the fans with a couple of easy goals. but they all count

i think you do. his movement was terrible and he seems to struggle to run. i wasnt a fan of skippy but i guarantee he would have had 3 or 4 chances in that game. hooper wasnt at the races tonight at all. was like a man down for the whole game. i think we have bought another rasmussen . penalty box striker that is slow , cant link up, cant hold the ball but will score the odd tap in. we have proved over the years that we cant play with a striker like that

McDonald wasn't quick, wasn't big, didn't usually seem involved but he did ok. Btw since your comparing him with McDonald , McDonald scored 4 goals in 13 in the Championship Hooper scored 18 in 20.

you just described skippy mate, and many have been saying we miss him, and i dont think he got a chance to show his pace tonight, there was no space to run behind the braga backline imo

It was his first competitive game, he scored so its all downhill i suppose. My * give him a * chance be writting him off. Also the service he got in the first half was awful. The first proper decent ball into the box and he was there to score.

Most of the balls where high and to deep, it was a pattern in the first half. No problem i just cant see why your getting on the lads back when he'll clearly get better. :50:

he looked the business over the weekend as well m8. there's a player in there. be patient with him. a goalscorer is what we needed and a goalscorer is what he will be

I firmly believe that if Hooper starts regularly he'll bang in the goals. His movement looks top notch. His goals may have been tap-ins, but he still needed to get himself into the position to be able to do this.

Poste missing. What planet are you on? He's only been with us just ove a week and in general his link up play was pretty good. He looks strong and pacy and isn't afraid to dig in either. He got one real chance and put it away. He was in the box often enough but the quality of the ball to our forwards wasn;t enough.

If Hooper stays fit he'll get 25-30 league goals this season.

Really pleased with the look of Hooper so far.

His determination and work rate is fantastic, i remember last night when we were caught 3 v 3 at the back and he sprinted all the way back to help defend :50:

He seems to have the intelligence, movement and finishing ability to score 20+ a season.
