I have to admit i like the look of him and juarez especially although so far they have all looked decent but yeah high hopes for hooper and i thought in our last 2 games we have looked far better once fortune came on

Hooper slower than skippy what game were you watching mate? and overweight what? some people let the poor result cloud their vision, i hope some of you don't drive home after matches with tht kind of blurred vision. Hooper is much quicker than skippy and not overweight at all, may not be 100 % match fit but none of those two.

up until his goal he looked out of place. he has no left foot whatsoever. he didnt show any pace at all. he scored a tap in that my granny would have scored. i fail to see what he done tonight that has everyone raving about him? big letdown for me.

can you tell me what he done tonight that excited you so much?? i must have missed it.

  9. I don't know how people are saying Hooper was slow because I thought he was a real jack in the box for us tonight and was all over the place, one of our best players with Juarez and of course we have Biram Kayal to come yet.

When is Kayal eligible to play ?

I agree im not raving about him but trust me where was sammy when that ball was played in by fortune forgive me if sammy played the ball to fortune but hooper was the one in the box to score, thats instinct and you do not learn that, secondly i saw a few occasions where he picked the ball up on the wings and only got the ball because of his pace, hes not lightning quick obv but quicker than skippy ever was. Also he won't show pace if no one is going to play him in through are you? Hes not going to go blistering through their back line when hoivelds got the ball because hoivelds passing is woeful, to me he looks quite nervous as is understandable but he looks intelligent looking to make runs in behind, hes a poacher and will track back. Just my opinion he wasn't amazing but certainly one to watch as the season goes on and id bet he will be top scorer in the spl.

he never held the ball up at all. he wasnt strong enough and i never seen him show pace at all. yes sammy and fortune spend a lot of times in the wings but they can create. after watching him tonight all i see is a slower and not as good version of skippy. hope he proves me wrong though

yeah, couldn't be that he made a smart run and actually got his * into the box where a striker belongs. couldn't be that he's showing an ability to finish opportunities that the current lot of forwards consistently miss. lets all slag him for scoring an easy goal. makes sense. * sake man. you're the type to complain about it being too sunny outside aren't you?

what exactly are they creating if there's nobody there to put the ball in the net. they've proven they can't score. hooper is proving that he can. why would you bash hooper? hooper isn't ever going to hold the ball up, he's a poacher which has been badly missed here. we now know where we're going to get the goals that are missing with keano leaving. be of good cheer

im not slagging him for his goal. im just asking what he done all night that has everyone raving about him. it was a simple tap in. just my opinion that he looks like a slower and not as good version of skippy ! was expecting so much more from him and i left extremly dissapionted

where was he for the other 89 mins then ?? if hes that good why didnt he score 3 or 4?? if your happy with his overall contribution tonight then fair enough but my opinion is different. a celtic striker need s to be involved in the game more than just once in a whole game

he done it once in 90 mins. he didnt look quick. we didnt get a chance to see if he has a good touch as he hardly touched the ball all night. he didnt look like making any chances for himself. as iv said before its just my opinion which i hope he will change but after tonights performance i fail to see why most people are raving about him.

skippy was born offside, moans about everything, dummyspitter, loses the ball and doesn't chase after to try and get the ball back. his opinion of himself grew with his waistline and he was a rat that needed to go.

comparing hooper with skippy is convenient because they're the same height and have the same haircut but it's lazy analysis. they're nothing alike.
