    Apart from the goal.

The winning goal. You want to just ignore that?

This will sound harsh but most people are * idiots who don't know hat they're talking about.

There is no-one else in out squad as consistant as Gary Hooper. That's a fact.

What do people think of danny graham as a replacement in the summer, seen hartson bringing his name up and i dont think its a bad suggestion although he would cost 4/5m probably.

it is bollocks. his movement and link up play is excellent too. his overall work rate is through the roof imo. if he isn't scoring, he's making sure others have the chance to.

regardless, he is our top scorer...pretty much blows all your points out the water.

oh so he was no where to be seen apart from his goal? the goal that won the match? what a fecking disappointment he is. only coming up with a winning goal. shame on him, the lazy *!

good player but there will be better value for money out there than him.

we should be avoiding the EPL as there is no value for money there whatsoever. tbh i think it's the worst league in the world considering how much they've spent on players. look how much Charlie Adam has been going for, his wages must be well over £40k too.

Was thinking that too, would still be a capable replacement though.

Hooper is far from lazy. I'd actually say the past month or so is the best form he has been in since about February of last year. He has been played in a slightly deeper role in a few games of late and you can see how intelligent a footballer he is. 18 goals in 28 games. You want him gone cos others can score those goals? Who exactly? Who do we have right now that would be able to fill an 18 goal in half a season void? We are already missing the goals of Stokes nevermind selling Hooper too, mental.

You say he is lazy and easily replaced by other members of the squad - look at the champions league alone - minus Hooper our 6 points against Spartak drop down to at least 2, perhaps even one given it was a 'lazy' run through by hooper that got Insurralde sent off...

It's baffling that you said he was lazy against Motherwell and didn't do much, except scoring the winner. Strangest line of arguing ever - take Hooper out the equation and the match is a draw...

I agree, there is a quality player in there when he turns up,let's be clear here am not anti hooper at all the moral of this story is do we sell him now or lose him in the summer for next to nowt.

I know what I would do.

That threads hilarious. "Lack of consistancy" - 4th or 5th powt in 40 odd goals in 70 odd games... eh aye, really * inconsistant that.

I can mind sitting behind a guy who was 100% sire that Henrik Larsson had lost it because he hadn't scored in 3 games.

That's the kind of mentality shown there.

I remember that - should have kicked the dreadlocked * out of the door after showing such a ridiculous lack of inconsistency and laziness :47:

If I remember correctly, Larsson then scored a hat trick in the fourth game. Could be wrong right enough, but he was that sort of player. Goes a few games without scoring and then takes his frustrations out on some sorry SPL side.
