It's in the Sunday Mail as well :54: But there's no quote from the likes of Hooper, Lennon, Lawwell, etc. until I see a quote I won't believe it. Also a tabloid. Doubt any broadsheets will have that story in their paper today.

In fairness to the Sunday Mail, that's probably not too far from the truth. I honestly expect Hooper to leave in the summer.

Hooper is going to leave at some point, anybody who thinks he isn't is deluded. Just hope it's not this month and I doubt it will be

If I was Lenny and these stories are true I would let him go now,his heart is no longer in it

    Cash in now.

No quotes again from the papers so may not be true ..Doubt if any of our squad want to go anywhere now with a couple of massive games coming up next month ! ...

If he wants to go in the summer, then fair enough.

As long as we get a fair price for him and he puts the effort in until then, fair enough.

disagree with this. Even if it's true and he has told Lenny he wants to leave in the summer how does that mean his heart isn't in it? If anything, he'll be working even harder to try and seal a move to a better team than the likes of Norwich or Southampton. It's definitely not worth selling him now, Hooper could be the difference between reaching the last 8 and being put out by Juve.

I agree with what someone said earlier. If he's going to let his contract run down then Lenny should drop him for the two Juventus game. If he loses us ~£5m in transfer fees because of his greed/selfishness (he can sign a new contract and leave in the Summer anyway, just allows Celtic to take control of the situation) then he shouldn't be playing in our two biggest games of the season. I think Wanyama still has enough time left on his contract for Celtic to be in control of negotiations with another club but if he's just running down his contract then the same applies to him. If you don't want to be at Celtic unless it suits you then leave immediately, don't * the club over.

I'm not buying what the papers say about him getting a new agent and wanting away (probably true) but the situation is still a bad one for the club.

Have you not seen him play lately,he's been lazy for weeks I would punt him we have other players that can score as well.

Bollocks. He's worked his * off like he has throughout his Celtic career.

18 goals in 28 games this season.

The closest player to him is Sammy and Commons. With 8 goals in around 30 games each.

I'd probably sell him now if it meant getting an extra 2mil for him than we would in the summer. As long as we spend to get a decent replacement.

It not bollocks, was not long ago many people wanted him benched because he was pish at that stage.

Last Motherwell game Sami had put in many balls into the box with hooper no where to be seen part from the 79th minute goal
