If Liverpool want him, fine i'll let him go £45 million and they can have him if they don't accept that as a fair deal then tough man *.

But being realistic after their huge * up with Carrol even if we said £12 million they wouldn't deal and just move on to someone else.

no player is bigger than celtic so if they choose to leave we'll take as much as we can get for them and use the money to unearth new talent.

Liverpool will be signing 3 players this January, definitely more than 20 million will be spent. I don't imagine Hooper's a target, though. It'll be Sturridge, Dyer, and a left back

Sturridge won't go near Liverpool. I'd be very surprised if Hooper isn't pursued by Liverpool either in January or August

Why would Sturridge go to Liverpool when he could be far more successful at Chelsea? That would be like Templeton leaving Hearts to go to Rangers.

that is the worse team he could go play for, if he don't pick up the pace right away he will rot there. he would be better off here with us for a few seasons then get abroad.

Deal was done to take him in August but fell through when he got injured and then Liverpool tried to make it an initial loan deal because of the injury but Chelsea would only sell. He's too greedy and not too well liked at Chelsea.

    Dyer's class.

If Hooper goes anywhere I would want it to be Liverpool but I hope he stays here for at least another year yet. This was his big chance to show everyone how good he is, and he's been fecking injured for 2 of our 4 Champions League games :54:

If Hooper moves I hope he will join a better club than Liverpool. He's too good for a mediocre EPL team.

Liverpool are currently playing mediocre football - but in no way are a mediocre team.

They need work on their squad, and will be going after players like Hooper who can add talent and goals into their squad.

One decent player doesn't make a whole team.

Liverpool haven't won a EPL title since? When was the last time they were almost won one EPL title?

They are average now. Finished 7 last season and will be between 7 - 10 again this season. if that is not average, what is?

Their glory days are long gone and they won't return anytime soon.

My point still stands. There are average teams which had featured even world class players in the past. One player doesn't make a team. it doesn't change the fact Liverpool are not elite anymore and only a shadow of their former self.

I can't argue that - but that does not make them a "mediocre" team :50:
