Any plans Deila had to bring ex-Celtic favourite Gary Hooper back north could be scuppered with QPR boss Harry Redknapp planning a £6m swoop for the striker. Daily Record (print edition)

There's no way we'd get him back here imo. I'm someone who would be absolutely delighted, but i do remember him looking pretty disinterested towards the end of his time here so who knows if he'd even entertain the idea.

According to these rumours both Hooper and Wanyama are coming back. :56::56:

Mind you, what a perfect summer that would be: Deila and Collins in, dawn of a new era, hang on to Forster and Van Dijk, bring Hooper and Big Vic home! Would be epic if it happened.... in one of my dreams this summer!

I hate going back for former players unless they're Larsson level.

this transfer section gets right boring gary hooper left us to fulfil his dream of playing in the premiership I doubt hes going to contradict himself after just a year he will either be bought by a prem club or he will be fighting to get Norwich straight back up as for wanyama he was saying in the papers for pochhetino to take him to spurs hes not coming back to celtic either its utterly boring all these rumours truth be told we have nothing concrete going so we cling on to poxy rumours deila even said himself he wont look at buying until he has fully assessed the full squad. !

I hope so, only reason being ive got a jersey with Hooper 88 on the back. At least it can be relevant again.

i wouldnt say he struggled at norwich.he was injured a lot, norwich play really negative as well.still think he scored more than all there strikers put together might be wrong. remember him scoring a few at the end of last season.he was the first ever norwich player to scor ein 4 consecutive games.still dont want him back though a brilliant player for us

Love how we get 5.5m while he was a rising star, then he has a rather average go of Engerland, relegated, and they're talking 8m for him.

I know the length of time remaining on a contract is a factor, but still maddening.

He left to push for a place in the England set up, also his partner was acting the wab as she didnt like Glasgow.

Sammy is another barrel of fish altogether, always going to be capped and his partner(s) were happy in Scotland.

Loyalty has * all to do with it. We paid Hooper to do a job and he did it, did it well in fact, we also got a nice fee for him as his contract wound down, as well as a sell on fee which we will receive this summer when he moves again.

Been our best striker since Larsson in my opinion so if we could get him back then great. Highly unlikely though.

I said when he moved and ill say it again hooper and Norwich will never work he needs plenty of chances every game he needs to play in an attack minded team that's were * prosper not with norwich were he gets * all chances and is expected to make them himself
