    :56::50:

Long as we agree Hooper isn't a class player. He can't shoot or head a ball.

I'd take him back with open arms.

Should never have left and I hope he recognises this.

31 goals in a season for someone who can't shoot is no bad.

Fletcher please, Hooper as good a goalscorer as he was for us could be a right lazy * at times, especially towards the end of his spell with us.

Who could link the play, better than anyone we currently have.

Kayal was an example of someone who couldn't shoot, Hooper is not.

Yeh but ronnys team is built round fitness and energy. No room for lazy * of a boy Hoops am afraid:54:

Kayal was shoking at shooting a give you that:smiley-laughing002:

Try and imagine Hooper shooting from like 20 yards out.. over the bar every time.

Then imagine La Thumb doing the same, half the time it'll fly high over the bar and the other half smashed right into the back of the net. Boom!!

If he was that lazy, he wouldn't have been able to play the lone striking role as successfully as he did for us.

Hooper very rarely had a go from outside the box. He was able to play with his back to goal, and bring others into the game, something Griffiths struggles to do, and it's something we badly need in Europe.

Wow you found a video of him scoring a 25 yarder. That proves your point eh:smiley-laughing002:

There probably another 2 or 3 videos of him banging one in from outside the box(maybe:smiley-laughing002:) But that doesn't mean he can shoot. His shooting is very very average when compared to Griffiths.

Nah, was just showing him scoring big game goals. Champions League and Old Firm match in there.

Clinical and reliable in big games, always was.

If that's what we need why are you camped in the Hooper thread. Cause if you know anything about football you'd know Steven Fletcher is twice the player as Hooper when it comes to playing with his back to goal, holding up the ball and bringing others into play.

Head over to the Fletcher thread ma man:50:

Because Hooper could do it, whilst still scoring 31 goals in a season.

People still got it out for Hooper I see.:smiley-laughing002:

Hooper was a far better finisher than Griffiths when he was here.

Hooper is a better Goalscorer/finisher than Griffiths or Fletcher.

He'd score more than either of them but I do think that Fletcher is more of a complete striker than all of them and is probably the best of the 3.

If be happy with Hooper or Fletcher - I'm not fussy :smiley-laughing002:

Your mistaking:56: Griffiths has a better goal to game ratio than Hooper.
