Prove himself again? He'd be right into that starting eleven no bother!

If Alex Neil wants to rid him because of his attitude why on would Ronny take him then?
And if he did can guarentee he wouldn't walk into the starting 11, look at the amount of effort Griffiths put in to earn his place.

Hooper would walk into the team ahead of both Griffiths and Ciftci.

It might be unfair, but that's what would happen.

He's a proven goalscorer not only in Scotland, but he done it for us in Europe too.

Really don't think he would. He's not played that much and would have a lot of work to do on his fitness to start games.

He'd be used as an impact striker I think, especially in Europe.

I'm as big a fan of Griffiths as anyone on this forum, but come on, Hooper is a level above anything we have in that department at present.

We wouldn't be spending a few million on someone like him only to sit him on the bench and stick with Ciftci!

Perhaps at first but to put Ciftci ahead of Hooper in the pecking order would be ludicrous.

He'd maybe be more hard pushed to get Griffiths out the side but for most there would only be one choice.

CM has Alex Neil been quoted anywhere about Hooper and bad attitude? Not having a go, simply asking as didn't think he'd be that type of player but not been party to any info coming out of Norwich.

Give him a few sub appearances to get him up and running, he'd be starting games regularly by September/October.

He'll also still be mates with a lot of the lads here, so he'd slot right back in perfectly.

Commons said last year he was one of the best players he has played with and made a fuss about wanting him to come back.

Aw please * don't let us sign this EPL failure who can't get a game for Norwich. And who is a lazy *.

Ronny likes energy in the team.

I'm in no way saying Griffiths or Ciftci are better than Hooper, Hooper obviously has far more quality but Ronny wants players to earn their place.
He wouldn't walk into the starting 11 but I'm sure he would earn his place fast if he was motivated for it, like he was when he first moved here. But as each season passed you could see Hooper wasn't as motivated and wanted his move.

Can't see him coming back anyway.

Ciftci just walked into the team, undeservedly imo.

  17. Griffiths and Ciftci are better than the lazy and pedestrian Hooper we are seeing now.

Scepovic probably did deserve a chance but Ciftci was just for qualifiers in types of games were he is better suited to than Griffiths and also the fact he's banned from the league.

How is he better suited than Griffiths though if he isn't scoring or setting them up?

Does he even have an assist apart from that tackle that landed at GMS feet?
