Norwich just confirmed that if they get Destro in (AS Roma) then Hooper or Ricky Van Wolfswinkle would be aloud to leave on loan... would take either of them personally

I don't know if I'd want Hoops just on loan and Van Wolfswinkel is absolute *.

And sign a player with no hun connection?! What a boring thread that would be.

I'd have Hooper back. The other lad has never impressed me.

Only time Van Wolfswinkel has impressed me was when he tore us a new one.

Van Wolfswinkel would score 20+ here easy.

I don't think its fair to say he didn't cut it, when he played he scored goals, he was their top goalscorer when they went down.

With the way Norwich play they want a lone striker who can hold the ball up and try and bully defenders physically that's not Hoopers game.

If he went to a team who like to play two upfront he would have been a success imo.

    Would love him back.

You've made the point that Hooper didn't succeed at Norwich because they play a system with only one striker (which I completely agree with by the way), but you then go on to say you'd love him back here. Where's the sense in that considering he'd be utilised as a loan striker in Deila's system?

I like Hooper and he was great for us, but he's not what we need now.

He scored 31 in his last season as a lone striker, the problem at Norwich was support. He was isolated as *.

Our system with one striker offers plenty of support. He'd be perfect for it.
