    No way can he end up at Sheffield Utd. Surely Lennon would take him before he allowed that to happen.

    I genuinely don't think he would have. The attitude towards our league down there is shocking, he did all he could with us and still didn't get a call up even though he thoroughly deserved it. While he was at us, Rooney maybe Defoe were the only strikers I'd have put in front of him. Now there is a pretty long list with Sturridge, Austin, Ings etc.

    It was an Under 21's call up.

    Nah I'm pretty sure it was under 21's.

    He was 23 but qualified since he was 21 at the start of the Qualifying campaign.
