He would probably join a Burnley or Leicester before coming back to Celtic unfortunately.

He should never have left in the first place. It was his decision to go, but maybe there is a slight possibility he could come back. We have some pretty decent fringe players up front and i guess a player plus cash deal might not be so bad.

I'm not the * that brought it up. Why the * is someone mentioning Leigh Griffiths singing about Rudi Skacel in the Hooper thread ? That is * boring there is a thread on Celtic chat for it.

Seriously though why are you bringing that up on here ? Why have you brought the Leigh Griffiths argument to this thread ?

Tongue firmly in cheek ya zoomer. Have a look at my posts on Griffiths thread if you can be arsed. While not condoning his behaviour I think people have gone way over the top about it and he should be given a final warning :50:

That is what I thought at the time, with the players they brought in I thought they wouldn't do to bad, thought Hooper and Wolfie upfront would have been great for them, but nope they just play the one guy.

We all knew why he left, to try and get into the England World Cup side for the summer, but going to Norwich was not the ideal place to try and break into the England side.

He thought the grass was also greener on the other side when he made the biggest mistake in footballing terms that he will ever make, and by the looks of it Norwich are down and if they do go down, he will have went from playing in front of 45,000-60,000 and in the champions league to playing in the championship.

He for me has been the goal scorer since Larsson and would have him back in a heart beat but there are loads of factors that will see this deal dead in the water for me, first off the fee, am sure Norwich will want nearly all of what they paid for him in the first place and we are not going to spend 5 million plus on one player. Second wages will be a massive problem as well.

Would love to see him playing in the hoops again but for me it's not going to happen.

Definitely would have him back. Wish he never left in the first place though. Don't think he would come back anyway.

So you feel the best defence of Griffiths is to attack Stokes. Personally I think he has a better chance saying "an older boy made me do it"
